I love Queen.

I haven't been listening to them that much lately, but I still love them.

Recently, I've been listening to Iron Maiden (Metal) and Blind Guardian (even heavier metal), but I still love Queen.

On one of Blind Guardian's best song, one of the comments said something like

"This song is one of my favs. Along with Bohemian Rhapsody."

Queen is awesome.

No amount of hate will ever change that.

It is all about the money and radio stations. Does the audience have an attention span capable of listening to a long song? And if all songs were 6 min long, then in an hour you could only have maximum 10 songs assuming no gaps between songs and no commercials. Long songs usually are not played by radio stations. I quite enjoyed the comment on facebook stating "queen is better than any of you will ever be" True. The craftsmanship of a song this complicated is mesmerizing. Not one band has ever done a single song to that scale. The overdubbing is so amazing I don't believe any band has put out an entire album that had that much overdubbing. Freddie's voice is going through every speaker. Brian May's guitar almost takes it to a heavy metal song. It's as if Mozart was still alive and decided to rock.

One thing I disagree with is the statement that "nothing like it has been heard before or since". Have a listen to The Millionaire Waltz by Queen and you'll find it has an almost identical structure and feel. Borap just happens to be the one that became a huge hit.
