@1960guille Hi, thanks! Glad you like the lessons.
I also teach How to play Pachelbel's Canon here with an 18 video lesson series although it is not ramped up metal style, a bit more traditional on that selection.
@martinmana Hi, no it is a bit elusive but I am more often than not using alternate picking. I just do not have an over-exaggerated picking style and lots of guys have asked me the same thing. But it is fair to say that yes in some places I might tend to use downstrokes, but that is just me and I do not really discuss picking techniques as far as what is right or wrong because that is a very personal thing to each player,
@EZGTR thanks for answering. i agree with youu, its what suits you best, its what you prefer. but to play this, at this speed, you really have a strong wrist and a powerfull picking technique!
Thanks for the backing track . I never clicked on a paypal link so fast. I hope it doesnt take forever to learn. If i play it half as good as you i will be happy. Im sure Bach is smiling to you from heaven.
@EZGTR I have learned it and got much satisfaction from playing it over and over again more so than any other solo I ever played. Playing along to the backing track was a great help learning it since I dont read any kind of tabs. It is really such a wonderful piece by Johann Bach. If I pick up the guitar and play it, I have to replay it several times before put it down. Someday if I ever can find a decent tone from these gadgets, I would record and post as response. thanks again!!
@fight2Bfree Thank you for writing such a positive note! I agree it is a wonderful piece by Johann Bach, not an easy one but a great learning experience for me as well and I am more than happy to share what I have learned with all you guys.
XD
@chemo72 Right on that is cool - I guess we all have our counterpart somewhere in the world. I wish I could play soccer like him and I wonder if he plays some guitar? Hmmmm maybe we can trade lessons..? lol
@RiffJunkieVideo RiffJunkie approved!??? AWESOME That does mean a lot to me - thank you, Just so you guys know (and to keep it in the family) the drums were produced by using DRUMCORE (John Tempesta samples)...
If I didn't know better I'd swear this was an outtake from "Moving Pictures"

I know many will make comments about technical issues, but I saw the video a hundred times and I can only say: wow!.
I would like to know if you have other videos of classical music performed with such force. A hug from Argentina

It sound cool, but I think this piece doesn't use the guitar range of tones... I prefer the Violin ones to make a reinterpretation...
