  • I never owned this game, but my friend had it. I always remember this theme being one of my favorite VG tunes of all time.

  • Lol two people couldn't get passed that first dragon. Losers.

  • still have this game and the system =]

  • at last I find THE GAME version!

  • Capcom makes some pretty neat tunes

  • VERY underrated game. Not many people have played this game. When Demon's Crest was released in 1994, the sales were horrible. I was lucky enough to discover this game when I was only 6 years old, and I haven't looked back since :)

  • @dmdollinar08 i believe its the title demon that didn't sell well i wanted to get it back in the day but my parents said no :(

  • @dmdollinar08

I think the game went under the radar because nobody knew what it was. I didn't know it was a sequel to Gargoyle's Quest. I just thought it was some random action game.

  • My kingdom for the revival of the series :(

  • In my top 5 of best songs of all time.

  • Wow, this songs brings back too many good memories while I was child; one of the best games I've ever played.

  • Merci hooper

  • this remember me my childhood. :)

i luv this game, including the OST cuz im going to make music

  • Blessed Be!

  • I think that's a real goth music. Замечатеьно.

  • the better game of snes is so great is in my top

  • :') I love firebrand.

  • can't wait to play as Firebrand in UMVC3

  • Gargoyles Quest is one of my favourite games of all time, shame there's no music from it on the list :(

  • Legendary gargoyle is my fav...after all is firebrand true form as the Red Blaze

  • Demon's Crest is one of my favourite games.

  • 1 dislike...

I can't even make a joke about it. Someone, in a moment that can only be called a major brain fart, must have clicked dislike by accident. It's the only logical explanation, really.

  • Epic game , Epic song .

  • If they ever put Firebrand in MvC this should be his theme. It's the most memorable song from the game by far.

  • @FireBomberBassist Well you better hope harder, cuz Firebrand's been confirmed for MvC 3!

  • @crapheadandidiot Haha. I been saying he needs to be in it since it MvC3 first came and it's like Capcom heard me.

  • @FireBomberBassist I know!

They're putting Vergil, Nemesis, and Phoenix Wright in too... God, it's like they're doing everything I want! XD

  • @crapheadandidiot Lol. They just want you to buy their game again knowing you will! They're so smart xD I'm buying it too!

  • @FireBomberBassist I actually haven't bought it yet, but now I'm gonna. XD

  • @crapheadandidiot Lol Lucky. I wish I had waited.

  • @FireBomberBassist Even if I had bought it, I might not have played it.

Then again, it DOES have Nero, and I quite like him.

  • I could feel a fragment of my soul ascending to heaven right now.

  • Sentimental tune... I could loop this for hours.

  • I WORSHIP FIREBRAND

  • the key of this song is in D minor

  • holy crap! my childhood!!

  • amazing song!!! Simply amazing

  • I';m 26 and still listen to VG music,this one is a juggernaut :)

  • This is such an underrated game.

I'm feeling like re-making this on FamiTracker now.

  • they dont make games like this anymore :(. I have played PS3,Wii and 360 (first two I own) but still SNES in its own right had one hell of a library of great games and Demons Crest is one of them. This song brings nostalgia everytime I hear it. I hope this game gets added to the Wii shop channel soon. A very underrated game that deserves better. Demons Crest gets a score of 9/10 from me :).

  • This theme is beyond words. I want this playing at my funeral.

  • @wormwood5073 me to worm :)

    me to

  • This solemn organ music really takes you back doesn't it; especially if you remember playing this game on a Friday night knowing you have a whole weekend of no school ahead of you. Good stuff.

  • holy crap yes, it takes me back. Back when we still RENTED games.

    good times man

  • Agreed man! I agree with wormwood5073 as well about playing this at your own funeral haha :P

  • This game has forever changed my views on a "Good Game". I love my playstation 3 and XBOX 360, But nothing says"EPIC" like my SNES. This game is its own genre. It has amazing orchestral music, which is far beyond average for the SNES. Its storyline is amazing, and graphics (Backgrounds) are astonishing. Playing this game is perhaps one of my favorite things to do. If I could, I would remake this game series, and prolong it, screw playstation and xbox, I'd make it for the SNES again.

  • Millions of dollars dont think like you do (us in that respect) Still man I feel you on that God knows I think like that and its quite sad to know things aint gonna change... at the very least those were good times eh? lets not forget that

  • awesome game...this music is so soothing

  • Dang is such a shame this game was overlooked...its musical scores (the whole melodic genre) destroyed those of Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy and any other RPG that even took a stab at the genre...Dark Demon, will always be etched in my head X_x

  • i love you

  • Beautiful ;_;

  • what is the key note's is this in?

  • this song is in D minor.

  • This is one of the best video game songs EVER in my opinion.

Such a fantastic game, too. It's a pity it gets overlooked so often.

  • agree, and the game its one of my favorites of all time

  • If I had to associate a facial expression with this song, it would be a sad smile.

Superb music for an excellent game! Thanks for uploading. <3

  • @vizeteufel A sad smile because its still locked up in Capcom's vault.

  • yeah this is my fav song in all demon crest and damn it is awesome, this game is so awesome...i want it for psp/nds(gba whatever i just want to play it again

  • Great music from an Epic game. I will have to give this one another whirl the next time i bust out the SNES.

  • When I first played this game I thought: "Yes! This is it! Why can't all games be THIS good!?" It was like Castlevania and Mega Man X had some divine child!

  • exactly this is in my top 5 favorite game evur for life !

  • I couldn't agree with you anymore my friend. Castlevania and Mega Man had one hell of an amazing lovechild x3

  • Oh. Dear God, so good. And this game's actually pretty hard to beat completely, I took my brothers and I six years or so from the time we got it to getting the heaven's crest (we thought you just couldn't get it at all).

    Brilliant choice.

  • I heard this first then went and played through the game.

  • Fits the dark atmosphere perfectly. I just hope it gets on the VC someday.

  • Aaaaah, brings back a lot of memories :3

The SNES got a lot of awesome games and beautiful songs :(

  • Beautiful song. I wasn't expecting something so good when it started.

  • Great music. capcom should do a remake to this game

  • beautiful tune

  • YES

Finally someone else out there acknowledges love for this song XD

This and the ending version of this song totally made this game for me. That and the overall atmosphere. It's a pity no one's ever heard of it :-/

  • this game had nice music but it all sounded very very similar ;p

  • Lovely game, Lovely music.... Know where I can find it?

  • my house

  • Epic. 5 stars,

  • Ive owned this game since it came out I love it great soudtrack!

  • The only problem about demons crest is the lenght.. excelent game though, it's in my collection

  • great underated gem. and an epic beginning.

  • what company made demons crest?

  • Capcom, I think.

  • That would be right! Almost feels like Capcom's answer to Konami's Castlevania series, in a way.

  • Only difference is that Castlevania was much better. And not based on the frustratingly cheap Ghosts 'N Goblins series.

  • Ghosts N Goblins wasnt cheap. Well, the super nes version wasnt at least.

  • I played the NES version, which kept the clock ticking AFTER YOU BEAT A BOSS. Do you know how long it takes to remove the Nintendo shrapnel created after you throw your controller in rage at the screen, seeing that beating the really hard boss by a nose means nothing when the key comes down too slowly? The answer: 23 hours.

  • Yeah. That happend to me on the second stage once. I really do love the super nes game though.

  • @SupraDarky its a shame they never made more i loved how he shape shifts go fire brand

  • @valcrist666 The Tidal and Aerial Gargoyles will always be my fave forms. <3 Firebrand is badass.
