The point of an "exhibition" game from a coaching standpoint is not to blow out your opponent or even, necessarily, to win. The point is to free your team up to make adjustments where they are necessary without it officially counting against you. U of A fans should not be frightened by this loss. I'm not, in the least.

@DanPrinMan our U of A Football Team took a nose dive this season so any sign of a fragile Basketball Team might have quite a few UA Fans becoming fearful of the possible 2011-2012 Season. When i saw our Team against Valparaiso yesterday though some of my Season jitters were calmed.

It's understandable, for sure. We could see a spark of life in the players when they played Valpo. They just need to figure a few things out. The next few years look very, I repeat VERY nice for Miller and the cats.

@DanPrinMan Lute would always be reloading for the next season; Miller seems to be equal or possibly stronger in the recruiting area. The years to come look quite bright for Miller & the Wildcats :) Hope you can catch the game against Duquesne @ 7p.m. Mountain Time tomorrow :) it should be quite a bit of fun. Go Wildcats.

Yeah, Lute was the classic coach with a solid system that players easily bought into. Miller knows how to recruit...and yes, he is a great caoch from what I can tell.
I Wouldn't miss the game for a thousand dollars...well maybe, but I won't miss it! I'm here on the eastern time zone. Gonna be a late night.

@DanPrinMan we better watch out for Duquesne, Miller does not seem to have a good record against Duquesne when he was with Xavier. Heard Duquesne has suffocating defense ... ouch
