As soon as I whip out the magic sauce, they're mine.
They were nothing though. They had some serious hard core special effects makeup artists there. Think Mos Eisley Cantina standing right in front of you.
Not at all. There will always be something I haven't heard of yet. Personal trainers is one I forgot to list there. US Military is another. Non-English teaching Academic is another. Diplomatic is another.
Japanese: Studied for four years in college and have lived here for coming up on 12 years now.
Corosuke are just like any other goth metal rock band.... I don't even classify the genre anymore, cuz it's always goths that turn up at gigs like this. I just listened to some jrock goth band called Gilgamesh, and it sounded shit.
I saw Korn back in JANUAry. Only went because there was no other group I knew that were preforming that month. Johnathan Davis looked like a fat lil goth girl.
Don't get me wrong, I like Korn, even if Jonathan's a fat whiner. Most people over here, either "japs" or overpaid lazy white expats, who go to see live music do indeed go to see the bands they know. They don't go looking for bands that haven't appeared in the media yet.
Besides, bands like Corosuke, Subhumanrace, VAV, are about as far from goth as you could get.
How long did you study Japanese? It sounds really good.

The fishhead thing was scary... they could have been cultists or fanatics, kidnapped you, and gut you in sacrifice to the fish god Sakana-Oh.

Star Wars. Think nostrils coming out of places you couldn't imagine.

What do you do in Japan, for work I mean?
coolstuff2003ad 3 years ago
Network engineer.
There's a few major categories of foreigners working here.
Expats
English Teachers
Entertainers
Engineers
There's a good sized handful of networking/syseng geeks working here, though we're not as well known as the other groups.

Would you say those are the only jobs going for foreigners in Japan at the moment?
And how did you learn Japanese, and Ninjitsu?

Melt Banana came to my town in Montana! It was cool. DMBQ came a couple times, too. Lip Cream is really good, though.

Ah, if you could only see them live.
(*^_^*)
The goth bands of the sort you're thinking of were on much later in the day, after I left. Tsubaki is one name I remember seeing on the schedule.

But yeah, The japs go mad for goth rock metal.

They'd need more makeup to be called goth.
