Hi there!!! I am not a self pay in that I did not pay for the actual surgery (it was covered by insurance) BUT after the surgery my insurance changed and it was an inclusion in the policy. WHICH means that I now had to start paying for my fills on my own. They weren't too bad in that I paid $150 per and I just found that my dr was closing his practice... ugh. I know how you feel. - BUT his office turned over patients to a GREAT dr that I absolutely love. Good luck!! You will succeed!

I have been watching extensions forever, ever since my hair got chopping 10 inches when that's not even what I wanted, wahh! Congrats on 30 lbs down. :) And really with the guy? Forget him, his loss - for real!

Your doing sooo great and look awesome. Hey that guy.... HIS LOSS!!! Thats a horrible thing that happened with the Doctor closing and the fills. I would be major upset, but you know what, you can't change anything and you've had the surgery and now you will just have to deal with it. It Sucks, but you have come too far to let obstacles get in your way.

I am 14 weeks out myself, and I have had a bad week. I personally need to get back on my horse, do some liquids to detox. Be well.

@HealthyLife4BBJ Thank you!! I did mean to say "vacation" lol , I am not getting surgery... silly me. I tried to add a speech bubble in the video to correct that so Im not confusing people. I saw your update that you are waiting back to hear from the insurance company and they said you may have to wait "four" - what is four? 4 months?

@lapbandchicka sorry I wasn't more clear, they said it could take up to 4 to 6 weeks to hear back. But my contact at insurance says they are required to do a turn around in 15 days. So I don't know. Just getting anxious. Part of the problem is I actuall have two insurances, so they have to get the ok from both. I feel so bad for what you are going thru with your doc, but I have faith it will all work out. Make sure you don't stress, stress is our enemy.

p.s. you are absolutely beautiful, guys come and go...don't ever let one make you feel down on you....the right one will make you feel like no other could dream of. Do as you say, concentrate on you... men don't define us, we do. :)

Yeah for the 5 lb loss! Your hair is cute. Nice reward. Sorry again about the doc stuff. Hopefully you'll find a good doctors office to get fills in the future. And I'm so sorry about the guy. Rejection never feels good. And it may not make you feel any better, but he just wasn't the one. Your guy is still out there and you'll find him eventually :-) have a great vacation.

@blessedmom2fourkids Thank you!! Been playing with the extensions all night, and I'm liking them more and more. Although very frustrated with the doctor experience, I am hoping maybe this will be a blessing in disguise for me and I will end up finding a fantastic replacement. I'm definitely ready to start dating again so I will keep my fingers crossed that a good one comes along, In the meantime, im gonna keep my focus on bettering my life.

@CindysFWord Aw thanks Cindy! You should put extensions on your list of rewards once you hit a major weight goal! Zofran is an anti-nausea medicine. Say you get the flu, and its a Sunday. You are dry heaving and vomiting and you can't reach your doctor. - if you don't have anything to stop the "heaving" it could possibly interrupt the way your band is sitting and in rare circumstances cause band slippage (this happened to @seemego2150) I think its smart to be proactive and get the script now.

yay! congrats on the great loss this week and overall loss... keep the momentum going! sorry about the guy but better he was upfront now than keep moving forward the friendship without stating his intentions... also, you said you'd see us when you got back from surgery...did you mean that?? i might have missed something. take care girl! ps...did your doc think you were crazy asking for the med or did he seem like he thought it was smart?

@seemego2150 oops! I didn't mean to say that! I was meaning to say "when I get back from vacation" -- no planned surgeries for me! I have mentioned to my doc fear of aggressive vomiting in before.. I am on a medication that lowers my immunity and so when I get sick...I get VERY sick. Your videos prompted me to be more proactive and ask for a script this time. He has alway kind of looked at me with a raised eyebrow, he never stated it but I sense he feels my worry about this is unfounded.
