You play with such beautiful sound, I love it! I'm actually playing the same model of B-flat contrabass clarinet for my college symphonic band. I've played clarinet for ten years, bass clarinet for six, and E-flat alto contrabass clarinet on occasion, but this is the first time I've ever touched a B-flat contrabass. Any advice?
Haha I do stuff like this alot on mine. Its just nice to hear the sound of a contra! I also have a paperclip, but it seems like they are still different editions. The bell on mine is at the very top. And I cant tell but yours seems to be wood, mine is metal and painted black. Beautiful Instrument. Keep Playin'!!

Paperclip design is superior for contra-clarinet

Hi MsJamMonster . This is a metal horn, It's just really old and super tarnished.
It sounds like you have one of the new ones they painted black with a low C.
I'd love to hear it. Please put up a video (with a link here) with it and be sure to honk out a low C!
I can barely tell the low D on mine as a note.
