  • Thanks! that was really useful!

I was wondering if there are ways to control the pressure of the pneumatics. I'm guessing I'd have to get a different valve, which isn't just an on or off valve?

  • yes

  • DO U HAVE TO HAVE TO OUT PUTS

    ?

  • @buddychristmasligh looks like it, usefull if you want to run 2 cylinders at the same time

  • does it can be worked automatically with switches to open and close posion.

  • @nalinmehta1983 if its wired up to a controller

  • Very nice, good vid answered alot of questions

  • For a controller I would just use an Arduino Uno board and some transistors. Would cost like 30 bucks max.

  • @wshelto6 you should do a tutorial on programing , and building a setup with one, im so confused when it comes to circuit boards, same thing with prop one, but id like to have audio with my props too

  • @mortarlover123 I actually have a video up of using one to controlling two small actuators with an Arduino. It was actually a design for school for a "camless" engine design. Still a work in progress but if you goto my videos and click the first one "Final Prototype Demonstration Model" you will get a little glimpse of it. If you have any programming skill at all you can program this board, very very easy. Also the circuit is really simple.

  • where did you buy that solenoid

  • fright props

  • Where did you buy the solenoid from?

  • @Djcarolina18 frightprops

  • @mortarlover123 Yep, we ordered a couple things from them this year and you're right...their service is unbelievable!

  • @Djcarolina18 yeah , they are my number one source for anything Halloween related now.. they have unbelievably good service, and they are friendly. On top of that their products are great

  • Where did you order your fittings, mufflers and the tube from? Thanks!

  • frightprops(dot)com, awesome service and good prices

  • where can i get a mat for ten bucks? and where can i get an aircompressor for fifty?

  • @MrHarryAndKyle ive seen aircompressors at Tractor supply co, walmart, and ebay for 50.00 easily, and the matt i dont currently have the link, im on another laptop as my main computer screen broke from a bad capacitor, so im sorry but i cannot supply links at the momment

  • @MrHarryAndKyle harborfreight(dot)com/pressure-sensitive-alarm-mat-96481.html

  • could you please make a vid i am a lot better at physicality seeing how u do it then verbally, im sorry if im bugging u but i could really use the help... thanks

  • @movieman621 sorry that i havent been able to make your video yet man , ive been working alot at my job

  • @mortarlover123 its okay, when ever you get the chance, and just so you know im not trying to get pushy its that i'm just really looking forward to using pneumatics this Halloween. And i cant wait for Halloween

  • @movieman621 i know man

  • @mortarlover123 thanks for understanding

  • in your other video about this set up u said u had it hooked up to a light switch but how do u get the power for the Solenoid, I do a small haunted house in my garage and i thought it would be a great addition please help me.

  • the power is from an outlet.. i have a 120vac solenoid valve, i cut an extension cord on one side and wired the open contacts to a switch , then i cut off the end of the extension cord and spliced it with the solenoid flying leads, ill answer anything you need to know, ill even make a vid for you if you need me to.

  • great video. Thanks a lot! i have been wanting to start building pneumatic Halloween props but did not have the know how

  • @shallowreef welcome :P
