Wow, so happy to find these videos. I too remember many a great concert in years gone by. Y'all sound great - did I hear mention of an upcoming cd? That would be sweet. You have to start a myspace or some kind of web page so fans can find out where you'll be playing.
My name is Niley Standish. I'm the bass player on this video. We all got into a fight one night because some of the guys said I made too much noise when eating soup. They made me buy them all shots of whiskey at every gig or they were gonna kick me out of the band.

I saw your comment under one of the sourmash boys videos. Do you know Larry Flint? He was the roadie for the band in the 70s. I lost touch with him after 79.Any idea where he is or how he's doing?
Hi Ron. I should probably let you talk to the other guys about this because I never really knew Larry, but since you asked... He got into some trouble. The way I understand it, when people would put up the band for the night he'd sneak into their bathrooms and steal all their prescription drugs. He cleaned out many a medicine chest before they finally caught him trying to exchange drugs for sex with an undercover officer. Last I heard hes out of jail now, cleaning fish at some processing plant.
@lonelywan Speaking of drugs, what kind are you taking? Larry Flint???? That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. And Larry was never a roadie - he was the bass player and harmony singer, and really did a lot just to hold that whole thing together. You should never make up slanderous stuff like this.
@flomurdock First of all, I never said Larry was a roadie, "allaire5" made that claim. As for him working in a fish processing plant, like I said, I heard that from someone else.
As for the rest, you guys can all go and hide your head in the sand if you want. It really doesn't matter to me either way. I was just answering a question. I hold no personal grudge against Larry, I just thought it was important to tell the truth about his lifestyle and the damage it caused to others around him.

@flomurdock Drugs and alcohol ruined my life, so I take it all pretty seriously. It's why I stay at a hospital now with anxiety attacks and spots on my liver. Therapy has taught me that it's important not to turn a blind eye but to try to help others who are struggling.
Addiction is a disease and the first step to recovery is admitting there is a problem. Then you must put your faith and trust in the lord Jesus Christ, praise his name.
Finally, thank you so much for posting this. Great memories from the 70s and 80s. I remember see them in Boston and Portland Me. This is truly a rare opportunity to see a great talent that could have made it really big.
