I met Mr. O'brian in 66 while I Great lakes Navel hospital, I was fresh out of back surgery and on heavy meds but I was more star struck than anything else. This was one of the high points of my life. I wish I had a copy of the picture taken with him by his crew. we were both marines and I am proud of that fact!
While serving in the Corps; I had the honor and pleasure of meeting and speaking with Mr O'Brian in 1965. He was in a USO Show, Guys and Dolls. Later, he came to our area and shoot the shit with fellow Marines. What surprised me was here him curse like a Marine. LOL
Aound 4:30 Wyatt 'bitch slaps a ranch hand who started mouthin off to Wyatt--earlier Wyatt walkin down the street & a bunch of cowboys decide to bushwack him--as Wyatt shoots them all down, in my mind thought should have put in the soundttrack to the USMC! Wyatt Earp--US MARINE! :D Thanks for posting!
Well, he cleaned up the country, the old wild west country, he made law and order prevail, and none could deny it the legend of Wyatt forever will live on the trail

That was awesome. Yes, he knew the words to "The Marines' Hymn" before he knew the words to our national anthem. Semper Fi, Hugh!
