@nidzaPFC claiming that ATi GPUs don't have Floating point processors are like saying that ATi cards doesn't exist at all. The reason why CUDA could be called 'Better' is because it's possible to invoke CUDA for other applications, not only 3D games.
@nidzaPFC It's an illusion. Movie sharpness is not related to GPU technology, but rather the encoding/decoding codecs. Either it's just an illusion, or the program uses cheap tricks to make you believe that the video is sharper. It's called business =]
@nidzaPFC Not only I've never really used that program (VLC + MPC is my choice. I do have like 3-4 year old CD with that program that came with my DVD drive), I've never really had a computer with ATi card myself (I know right?), so I can't really say much about that. All my friends have nVidia too (>.>), so I can't really ask them to check it out either.
@SNOWBOARDER1SAM But man, you should see some PC games that have like 3 times the resolution (ie 3 times 1080p!). That my friend, is just absolutely amazing
@camerabbit CUDA if iirc was just a renamed floating point processor. They renamed it to sound all cool and such (It's called marketing).

@zingmars maybe, but it looks better with CUDA, and ati doesnt have it.

@zingmars Yea, for example in PowerDVD10 software, movies looks much beter with CUDA enabled, it gives them sharpness.

I like all this stuff NVIDIA is pushing, but none of the games I like use it, so I'm sticking with ATI for my next card.
