other goalies like perkins in dc last year were visibly upset when he scored the first freekick and made a huge effort to block the next one.

when the galaxy sucked, teams like chivas drubbing them 3-0 twice last year and rapids mauling em 4-0 in their first game this year blocking more than one of beckham's freekicks.

and he more likely places the ball to his left but many times he has placed it to his right and scored so it is not certain he WILL place the ball there.

at 7 seconds its past the crossbar and just before 8 seconds the net bulges. the wall was in front of goalie's left side. he is initially moving to his left and 1 or 1.5 seconds aren't enough to leap right and block the ball.
