Serious SQUID alert. It's shocking that the first words out of this guys' mouth weren't "What the F was that? Not cool."
It boggles my mind that people will go out to the track to responsibly ride fast, and then pull the type of crap both riders in this video did cutting around vehicles across the yellows into blind corners and think that it's no big thing, yet rip on others about doing the same thing. Really ruins the video for me and probably would for anyone else who has half a brain. :(
@gymkhanadog That was a few years ago, A. & B. the guy you are talking about has been a professional racer for the last 20 years in the AMA and overseas with several championships. As for ME. I haven't been on the street since that week. I am all track, race & work for a track day organization. The guy you are talking about also doesn't ride street. While I fully realize it was stupid for me to do that, it was one time. Like you've never done anything stuypid ONCE? Spare me.

I applaud your commitment to the track, though it is sad to hear that you're no longer riding on the street.

Maybe take a step back, read what you just wrote, then watch the video again, and then watch the video a few more times and see if you can wrap your head around why people who do this type of stuff give us ALL a bad name and why many of us get upset about it. Sorry you think it's ok to ride this way.
I honestly would have much preferred to see what kind of lap time reductions you saw or something, not hooligan riding endangering other people on the road.

I wrapped my head around the stupidity, hence my admitting it to you and publicly. So CLEARLY I do not think it is okay. Then perhaps look at the other videos, I have dropped good time in two years, 5 seconds last race weekend alone. Amazing what new tires and new clip-ons, levers and a race environment will help you accomplish.
