Thanks, this was my first computer...It is fun to see your expressions on how to boot it. Those were like 2 grand new without the extra RAM. Check out the external modem you can get for it.
I had this computer when I was a teen. I haven't heard the whirr and hum of that floppy drive in so many years! It was a good old machine. Amazing how much technology has progressed!
TANDY ! Wow, brings back memories from the 80's. They couldn't be called RadioShack in the UK as there was a company with that name. They had some great monthly giveaways, battery club, torches, screwdrivers, hats, beachballs etc. They went bankrupt in the mid-90's and Carphone Warehouse bought all the shops.
I used to buy loads of electronics bits and pieces there, but they lost their way a bit and become overpriced, so people stopped going and down the drain they went. Very sad really. 8-(
hay wait you had to mess around to get ms-dos. that last people who had it formated the ms-dos diskes so when i stick it in to boot it up it keeps saying stick in system diskes and hit any key to continue. how did you get yours?
@supermario641996 You can hook it up to a TV with composite video in. I hooked mine up to my HDTV and it looked ok, but had jaggies. A standard def tube TV would yield better results.
