Yeah but going home on leave (regular or baby leave) or even going home wounded you still have to GO BACK. So unless its a really bad wound (in which case the sacrifice is just as great as death) then really the only way to go home for good is in a body bag.

Thank you for your comment; however we are told to fight where the people want us to fight at. Regardlesss if there is any truth to the reason we fight, it doesnt matter. The Politics of war doesnt mean anything to a soldier. We fight to kill and win where there is a battle and when it is all over; that is when we think about the reasons for war, But until that time happens, its all about survival and killing the guy that is training to kill you.
