I bought this same computer from Tiger Direct. After all these years it's still my main notebook, and it still looks like brand new. The industrial steel case is great! I run Windows XP stripped down and clean. Couldn't be happier with it for what it is. The hard drive just died, so it should run even faster with a 72000 rpm unit. This Gateway is my baby. Best experience I've ever had with a notebook, and I've had many. No reason to upgrade since 2007, and that's saying a lot. :)

I remember when I had this PC, Still have it actually.
It was great till i switched to a machine with 2x more ram and a 150% faster processor, MAC!!!

I loved this laptop like it was a child. Playing GTA and converting videos at the same time... good times, until it crapped out on me yesterday from shorting out. :( I suppose thats what a warrenty is for...

Funny Observations:
1:32 - Logan says it won't skip a beat, the video skips a second later
1:57 - Logan checks out the "adults only"
2:23 - They show an Acer in a Gateway montage...
4:30 - Showing the Acer AGAIN...
