  • Excellent video. My students will probably want to watch it today during computer lab. I think they will like it, as it makes this subject very clear.

    “Be going to” is usually used when something is already planned or definite. The simple future (will), however, is used when we decided to do something in the moment of speaking, It is also used when talking about actions which are part of a schedule or program:
