  • I remember watching this when I was nine or ten and it was the first time I'd heard of the programe. How times change.

  • Was there any particular reason for "Blue Peter" doing a "Doctor Who" special in 1999?

  • Those Dalek vocies are rubbish.

  • galafree?

  • Why oh why oh why do they have to get all their facts wrong?

0:50 The Doctor, not Doctor Who

    1:28 Same again!

1:31 Its pronounced Galifr-ay not Galifree.

1:34 159 adventures, they over looked the TV Movie.

1:59 In Time and the Rani the Doctor says he is 953 years old. And by The Movie he is well over 1000 (The New Series gets it wrong but it may be explained in the End of Time Part 2.

    2:07 13 lives!

    just enjoy it

  • I did enjoy it, they should just get their facts right. And why didn't you acctualy reply to me?

  • @daleksfearthewhovian

    The Doctor, not Doctor Who:

You're correct, but the character is named as 'Doctor Who' on the end titles of most seasons.

    Its pronounced Galifr-ay not Galifree:

Tom Baker often pronounced it "Galifree".

159 adventures, they over looked the TV Movie:

"159 BBC adventures" - the TV movie made by american tv network Fox

    Also:

The Doctor's age is constantly changing. It is one of many reoccuring discontinuities throughout the classic and revised series.

  • I started watching doctor who doctor who 2006 and the first episode and the firs episode i did se was End of the world from 2005..I did just sit in the sofa and did zap tru the canales and i did see the beginning of the episode and then i was glued to the sofa.

  • people go onto that site? i'd laugh if they hacked it aswell oj (only joking)

i remember watching this when i was little, it was on BBC One

  • Why did Blue Peter do a DW special? The show had been on since 96.

  • It hadn't, that was a one off episode. It was dropped soon after. Usual transatlantic tripe of americanisation.

  • 2:44 LOL

  • 2:44 I couldnt stop lauging

  • My dad made me watch this I'm sure of it!

  • when did david become doctor who?

  • @pwnage155 2006

  • @pwnage155 2005.

  • @pwnage155 David became The Doctor in 2006

  • Pyramids of Mars at 1.50! My favourite story!

  • Patrick Troughton was the Best! And all his Best doesn't even Exist. Such a Shame.

  • I remember watching this when I was 7!! This was brilliant for a lone fan in the wilderness years.

  • lol i will sound nerdy now but that scottish kid is so lucky to actually meet people from the series and be in a club

  • I bet they were the popular kids at school.LOL

  • What do you mean by that hm?!

  • Worst Dalek voices ever. But not as bad as Day of the Daleks.

  • The Dalek voices were awrful. I was laughing beacuse it was so awrful. It did really show what the 90s and the BBC thought Doctor Who was. My favorite monster concept were the Daleks - so imaginative. The Daleks sounded like Hitler if he reached 80.

  • oh god no. not that dalek voice. please no. sounded more like a hampster gargling salt water!

  • Who does the research for this. The only good thing is Hyde Fundraisers.

  • I'm impressed the costumes haven't fallen apart.....I wonder how good they are now...

  • I can't believe how geeky they made it look!
