  • sorry but if obama or mccain wins america is gonna invade iran

  • FUCK THE REPUBLICANS

  • I can't get enough of Republicans running against George Bush. Even John McCain! So where were these guys in 2004? Oh, that's right - they were at the George Bush rally.

  • Cenk is a great broadcaster he is going from strength to strength. Great humor.

  • gordon smith is polluting our airways with his poison

everyday at least 30 times i see that commercial

    fuck him

  • its called trying to save your own ass

  • I hear there are Republicans trying to get their names listed on the ballot without a party designation.

  • "I hear there are Republicans trying to get their names listed on the ballot without a party designation."

That's good. They're not Republicans anyways. We need a third party that these republicans and centerist dems can all call their own. How does the "Neo Fascist" party sound? They could just put a little swastika on the ballot to denote their party affiliation.

  • ROFLMAO!! I love your reaction, Cenk. I am an Oregonian and have opposed Smith since day one. (I was 15 when he was elected). He came to my high school in 1996 and I shot a paperclip at him. Unfortunately it missed, but it hit "Slade" Gorton next to him. I am getting sick of his stupid ads like he's the good guy.

  • Aww, a Young Turk even in the cradle! How sweet :) hehehe. Good for you!

  • you have to admit, that guy is convincing

  • Republicans pretending to be Democrats, while their candidate is a Democrat pretending to be a Republican. It's a wacky world!

  • (Or is he a Republican pretending to be a Democrat pretending to be a Republican?)

  • *brain breakage*

  • Why not? Republicans pretend to be Christians all the time.

  • haha nice

  • Like there is a difference between the republican and the democrat. They are both from the same party...

  • Indeed, indeed....

There are two parties for the simple reason that the corporations need opposing ideologies to get the common people to fight each other instead of going after the real problems, and that's a two party system. We need at the least, a four party system, enough parties that the corporations couldn't possibly buy them all out...until then, we're pretty much screwed.

  • The recipe is different between democrates and republicans. The dish is the same though. They want an america based soley upon their beliefs, not what is best for the country. I challenge anyone to pick a subject and state how it is good for everyone. I guaranteed someone will be able to refute what ever you say.

  • "Times are tough and I am a clown, HA HA HAA!!!!"

    LOOL!!!

  • LOOL!

  • hahahah that last part made me lol

  • nothing new to me; democrats been acting like republicans in MS since the GOP became conservative

  • trajiklastat

    gop are conservative

typical bush republican, you can't even write coherently

  • #1 I'm the only person who watches TYT that says openly "fuck ron Paul"

#2 Cenk has said if you watch TYT that the democrats used to be conservatives.... ever heard of the "solid South" they weren't a bunch of liberals back in the time of segregation....learn histroy and watch liberaly TYT on a constant basis

#3 would you like to support MS politics, because I sure don't

  • He could be drinking, I know I wish I am right now.

  • The group Vietnam Veterans Against McCain attacks Senator John McCain's heroism as a POW in the Vietnam conflict; this is making some waves in the news due to McCain's presidential candidacy.

The documentary "Missing, Presumed Dead the Search for America's POWs" however focuses more on Senator John McCain successfully blocking the release of classified POW/MIA documents.

Here is a DVD extra from that documentary. A DVD of the documentary may be purchased at MissingPresumedDead website

  • haha great vid

  • I've got one of these partisan carpetbaggers running for county commissioner in my area. He's been a Republican his entire career, now he wants to move to my district, and switch to the democratic party to run for office. Problem is, everyone knows now, so he has no chance. Time to retire, republican moron.

  • Love you Cenk for pointing stuff like this out other people might not. So hilarious this republican guy cosing up to democrats. I bet if he does get lucky and gets back to D.C. he'll turn so quickly on the democrats and go back to his rightwing ways. I hope they don't fall for his b.s.! Someone there needs to make an ad telling the truth about this guy if they haven't already. It is really funny!

  • lol

  • Yo everybody, click on the McCain ads on the corner. Every time you do, McCain is charged some money by youtube!

    Break his bank!

  • Cenk, thanks for taking a minute to stick it to Gordon Smith. He needs to be voted out in this next election...pandering flip-flopper...

  • So what made you join the Republithugs?

  • Republicans are pathetic...give me a break..

  • LOL!

  • AHAHa hilarious

  • Cenk you are funny!

Yes we do love Obama here in Oregon! woohoo!

  • Love the sarcastic comment!

  • haha. Great commentary!!

True, Obama is as corporate as McCain... Nader is the only non-corporate candidate with a record of standing up for the people!

  • The best guys never get elected. This is what people call democracy: Rule of the money, needed to run campaigns by candidates who are just a elongated arm of corporations and the financial market, which itself follows a single rule: More money, more control; Thus controlled by those with the most money (who of course never get elected)

I'm not even pessimistic here, it's exactly how it works. A factual, neutral basic outline of an average democratic system.

  • No one said it wasn't, but democracy is also about showing the corporate control that we the people aren't stupid, and we're able to throw some extra support to a candidate such as Nader to show them that.

  • I really liked this one but Obama is as corporate as mccain.

  • How much campaign cash does Obama have compared to McCain? He has so much that he had to opt out of the public campaign finance that McCain is on. Now you seem to think that democrats get their cash from granny and her $1 bills that she sends in but I really doubt there are enough of those donations that would be able to give Barack so much money.

  • The answers is at opensecrets. org. Its an awesome non partisan site that tracks the cash of all politicians and who is giving it to them. It's also good for checking up on the small politicians in your town.

  • I was trying to make a point. No one raises as much money that Obama has on small donations especially when half of all democrats didn't vote for him.

  • Actually, the minimum for online is $5 and if 10 million give that a month thats 5 million. Obama web effort is great and everytime an attack goes, I personally donate 50.00. You tim for porn make me donate another 50. Go OBAMA

  • If you can donate $50 everytime there is an attack then you must make more than lets say 700 a week then. I bet you make a hell lot more than that if you can just throw $50 around everytime with such ease. You make about $75,000 a year probably.

  • Wow MCcain who promised a civil campaign has 700 attack ad a week? I not talking about what on the rightwing blogs or talk radio, I talking his mainstream media attacks and I still have a way to go before I get to my 2,300 limit.

  • No, educate yourself before you throw your money away. He said that you must make over $700 a week to be able to throw away $50 a month to a candidate already receiving millions of dollars from corporate lobbies.

  • I am not a kid, I have a child in college and I spend over 50.00 a week on dining out. I am blessed financially but I read his book "The Audacity of Hope" where he outlined

his agenda and with the exception of the Fisa Compromise, he has stayed the course. Now, please tell me the names of these lobbies that directly gave to Obama (not bundlers) so I can Educate myself better but a vote for any third party is a vote for McSame

  • But donating money doesn't help. He's got huge corporations already giving him more money than he ever needs. It's essential to kick the Republicans out of the White House (and keep them out, I might add) but what's most essential is reclaiming our democracy from the corporate stranglehold that keeps your voice and mine unheard. I really wish Obama was that man, but he's definitely turned otherwise since sealing the nomination and that's really sad. I probably would have voted for him too.

  • Wow, you must do not remember 2000 when Liberals were upset over Gore, VP Pick of Liberman (For good reason) and voted for Nader, the result Bush was appointed President. Obama is not perfect but at least he listens to the progressive agenda. I worked for corporate America for 10 years and not all companies are like Walmart. If Barack received money from Microsoft or Goggle is that tainted? If you are so inclined read my post on Huffington to see why BO had to move to the center.

  • "I worked for corporate America for 10 years and not all companies are like Walmart."

Very true. Costco is an insanely profitable warehouse store chain with ridiculous benefits for employees, and get this, their founder and CEO only makes about 350,000 a year. Compare that to how Wal-Mart's CEO makes over 400 times what the average Wal-Mart employee makes in a year....

  • Yet another reason to love Costco... Can their employees have unions?

  • Uh, if I remember correctly, Costco doesn't frown on union membership, no.

  • LOL Bush did not win because of Nader. Nader hardly had an affect at all. It was both the FL Supreme Court and the Supreme Court who made Bush the winner. That and Gore didn't count the whole state. And Obama has always been a moderate democrat. Even during the primaries his positions wasn't that different than Clinton's.

  • I agree with you, I was responding to the purist smantie because he said in an earlier post that Obama accepts corporate donations and that makes him dirty, but the 2000 election should not have been close. GW Bush was a failed businessman who used his family name to become Gov of Texas. Al Gore was VP of an Administration who was sucessful in every way except Bill's infidelity. It should not have been close. Just like this election, it should not be this close

  • Candidate Home State Jun'08 Raised Jun'08 Spent Total Raised Total Spent Cash on Hand Debts

    Obama, Barack IL $51,818,371 $23,295,381 $339,216,317 $267,545,993 $71,670,324 $890,921

Republican Candidates Candidate Home State Jun'08 Raised Jun'08 Spent Total Raised Total Spent Cash on Hand Debts

    McCain, John AZ $25,871,877 $26,196,488 $145,466,201 $109,829,375 $35,636,825 $1,453,172

  • Wow, that was pretty good. Cenk oughta run for office.

  • you just wait...he graduated from Columbia Law for Christ sake.

  • You criticize him for being a millionaire and not being one of "you" yet when Obama goes to Columbia then its ok for someone to be superrich and being "upper crust". Do you only criticize republican politicians when they are upper crust?

  • Obama is not super rich, his net worth is 4 million, mostly from the sale of his two books

Now you and I both know that a net worth of 4 million is not even more than a bench role player in the NBA

  • Are you saying that someone who has 4 million in net worth is middle class?

  • No its not middle class but its not elite when America' has 400 billionaires. Also, who was the last middle class President? Oh yea, Bill Clinton, who did not even own a house when he became President. Obama and his wife just paid off their student loans and if he was rich he would not have needed Rezko to help him buy his 1.6 million house. The avg house in my neighborhood is worth a million and I am middle class.

  • Love to see Republicans on their knees.

  • hahaha thats really true. i'm one of you
