Black Crowes have always reminded me of early 70's Stones, Faces and Humble Pie. Not their sound as much as their attitude and swagger. They sound like themselves. Quite an accomplishment at the time they came out, and quite an accomplishment today. No one over plays and that's always a joy. This is surely a solid song that lends it's self to transporting one back to nearly forgotten memories "in the wink of an eye"... Go Dawgs!

@MrBuc128 i think rock and roll will come back within the next ten years, but maybe not. and today people dont even have to have a good voice to be famous, there is more focus on their ability if you know what i mean, you can be a great singer but have a terrible voice. and today if you are good looking then you are pretty much going to be famous.

I absolutely love the Crowes but...I saw them live open for Tom Petty and was very disappointed! :( they sang everything at half the speed it should have been and to make matters worse they sang songs NOBODY knew. they olny sang Jealous again and remedy. BUT in saying that they will always be a favorite of mine!!

the bassist is totally influenced by Nikki Sixx, he moves just like him, the hair a bit similar and same bass...but who can blame him? Nikki rules :) That was my fave Black Crowes album...such great memories and still great to listen to.

the bassist is totally influenced by Nikki Sixx, he moves just like him, the hair a bit similar and same bass...but who can blame him? Nikki rules :) That was my fave Black Crowes album...such great memories and still great to listen to.

i think that one of the best americana rock tours of ALL TIME would be The Black Crowes and Izzy Stradlin and the Juju Hounds...that would be SUCH a kickass concert to see...imagine...Izzy and Chris on the same stage??? talk about "brother from another mother"...I'd love to even just see Izzy team up and do a record with his friends and Chris R. and his friends.
