SARAH PALIN 2012.."DON'T RETREAT,RELOAD,GUNS COUNTRY" CAMPAIGN..BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE FOX NETWORK....but it will not all be spelled correctly ofcourse when they start the campaign.......hahaha
Sheriff Stalin of Pitarded County must pay for his crimes. As soon as I can I'm driving out to Pitarded County to picket the offices of Commissar-I mean Sheriff- Dupednik.
This Sheriff has watched Arizona become more & more bigoted as Gov Brewer has stirred the pot for political reasons each time there has been an incident in the state & grown mighty tired of it.
if this little fool of a sherriff was so concerned about the peoples safety, perhaps he should have exinined closely this shooters death threats from the recent past which he aknowledged.
this "sherriff" stated hes been watching america for 75 years. it seems obvious this is a lie. im sure hes been watching his own election returns with a magnifying glass though.
dupe-nik. a sherriff should know better than to spout his opinions before the investigation begins. and even after, his opinions should be kept personal. i have a strong feeling will the voters will cast this moron out on his ear in the next election.
"GUNS SALES SOAR.UP TO 60%"..oh how typically patriotic of uneducated-redneck-paranoid-racist-bigoted-homophobic-teabagger reaction..because they are very afraid of getting their guns taken away, you dont need a machine gun to hunt.and what they don't understand drives them crazy and nuts, plain and simple really when you only got a grade 3 education and racist, yes folks, its about racism too, people who never said they were suddenly became racist when obama got in office.and yes i am a "fag",lol
the problem in America is they promote the division, the hate, the violence, then, when the violent terror act happens, only in USA, we have a democracy where from time to time there are Politics Assassinations AND NOT POLITIC ASSASSINATIONS. KILL IS NORMAL
it is OK to have a gun in USA. it is a MACHO KIND OF AMERICAN LIFE, the COWBOY with is COLT 45, WE ARE AGAIN IN THE FARO-WEST.
USA IS AGAIN A LAND WITHOUT LAW.
USA IS A DECADENT ARROGANT OLD IGNORANT RACIST MILITARY CHRISTIAN STUPID COUNTRY.
@raseclarbac On your page I see : "About me: human respect, all races united, all differents all equals, stand UP for your Rights, make LOVE not WAR"
And then I see you cherry-picking videos of all of the worst aspects of the US and shitting all over them and spewing hate at the US in general. Hmmm....maybe you should practice what you preach. Or at least get your facts straight before you start preaching.
Sheriff Dupnik didn't even wait till the bodies were cold before he DRY HUMPED them for political grandstanding.
Awesome job at exploiting a tragedy Sheriff....way to go. And millions of others followed you down the same shameful path into lunacy.
As much as I can't stand Sarah Palin or the Tea Party...how DARE you do such a thing.Accusing of a whole demographic of people with no evidence whatsoever of their guilt.
Libs, just say BUSHITLER a few times, and it will make it all better.
This is a total assault on freedom of speech. As always, coming from the left. Yet, this was a leftwing pot-head that committed the murder. It's rightwing talk radio...yeah right... UNSTABLE OLD MAN SHERIFF.
@mikebee02 the Sheriff is a government official - He may have a freedom of speech - but he also has a RESPONSIBILITY - because anything he says can be used by the defense team of that nut who shot everyone.
He is giving the defense team the defense that the shooter was not ressponible.
FYI - If the Sheriff had done his JOB when the nutcase was making death threats and arrested him then even if realeased he would not have been able to purchase a gun - he would have had an arrest record.
Supercop is a super psychiatrist too! Thank God we have men like this to preach about the evil political influences of the conservative right that drive psychopaths to kill!
This is a smokescreen and shameless political ploy. Dupnik's Sheriff's office and the county mental health system was likely negligent in following up on the numerous death threats that Loughner made in recent years. Loughner's mother works for the city council. Coincidence?
Loughner was also arrested twice and let out after completing a "diversion program".
Why are all these retards trying SOOOOO hard to discredit this argument? Because Fox News makes its cash off of hate merchandising. If people turn against hate speech, Fox News is gone - COMPLETELY. It's that simple.
I like how Fox news tone has changed from HATE socialist marxist! To we need to come together america and find out the facts before we start our hate up again.
The paukenschlag against free speech and the 1st Amendment continue on. How disgusting it is that a law enforcement official would use this tragic event to suggest our freedoms should be curtailed. But anyone with any sense know that there are many like this doofus who want to shut everyone in the nation up.
It is unconstitutional to pass laws to curtail our 1st Amendment rights based solely on how someone MAY react when exercising them.
The same people rushed to judgement when they saw that the Ft. Hood shooter was a Muslim . Remember"all Muslimsare not terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslim.
@daveverplank During the Iran vs Iraq War in the 80's both sides yelled "Alla Akbar". Which ones were the terrorists? Oh yea, it must have been the Iranians because we were backing the Iraqis.
@exsinor The same Democrats who blamed Palin for what happened in Tucson were the ones telling us not to jump to conclusions when it came to Fort Hood.
conservatives are besides themselves in trying to defeat their extreme and hateful rhetoric in light of the tragedy. In the words of my grandfather, a hit dog will holla!
The Sheriff is right. Rush and Sarah told this young and easily impressed kid to shot people. But the sheriff could have stopped him, the law has investigated the poor kid several times for threats to kill folks. When Obama said to have a moment of silence I almost cried myself. This will help keep Barack in office for many years where he belongs. This crisis should not go to waste. Barack, I love you.
What a farce has the right become in this country. You don't need to take the blame for the shooting, but stop pretending you're not part of the problem.
When was the last time John Kyl was physically present in southern Arizona? If he comes to this part of the state once a year, I guess we should count ourselves lucky. He has no clue what is happening here. He should shut up about Sheriff Dupnik, who is an honorable man.
The left avoids any blame when a muslim shouting "Allauhakbar!" goes on a killing spree, but when some nutter goes crazy, they are quick to label him a "tea bagger" or a republican without any evidence at all.
@1497mo what the hell are you talking about? I do not recall any democratic leaders or liberal personalities defending the 911 attackers, the unabomber, the shoe bomber, or the underwear bomber. This is exactly what we are talking about A HIT DOG WILL HOLLA!
@1497mo what the hell are you talking about? I do not recall any democratic leaders or liberal personalities defending the 911 attackers, the unabomber, the shoe bomber, or the underwear bomber. This is exactly what we are talking about A HIT DOG WILL HOLLA!
When I watched this douchetard Dupnik fuck the victims of this nightmare on on live TV, I knew he was truly a piece of idealogical shit. He should die a death like the victims of this tragedy. He threw my beloved state under the bus to achieve a political end. He is equal to the monster that perpetrated it.
The inciter always deflects when he incites more than was intended. I used to be a middle of the road kind of guy, never judging based on political affiliation alone, but I have to say, over the past couple of years, even I have been falling victim to the absurdity and saying, "F*ck Republicans." It's wrong; I feel it's wrong and I know it's wrong, but I feel that way inside. Someone help me, I'm losing objectivity.
You're a sheriff, not a politician. Give facts and stop risking a murder case you moron. You don't have to be told this idiot's a democrat, ignorance is always a giveaway.
I really hate it when rightwing hacks cry that someone is politicising an issue. If sarah palin would have been shoot, they would have been out for blood in a matter of minutes.
Yes, if you learned your history from Glenn Beck and Jonah Goldberg. In reality, despite the party name, the socialists were the third group the Nazi brown shirts went after. Right after the jewish intellectuals and the liberals.
To hell with these Republican and Tea Party apologists! They lie if they don't see a risk in what they do.
They act all innocent while fully aware of their years of hostile polarizing rhetoric from their right wing politicos and pundits and the FOX News Propaganda Ministry. To make matters worse the blatant show of guns and gun rhetoric at political rallies from the rest of Right-wing nutjobs since Obama was elected.
They don't even have the spine to admit the risk of what they did.
The Sheriff is exactly right. "Crosshairs"? "2nd Amendment Remedies"? Really? You morons don't see a problem here? It does not matter what the motivation was for the murders in Arizona, the point is that the rhetoric and the discourse has got to change. The Right wing-nuts do not OWN America. Sorry.
We now know that the sheriff knew of previous death threats put out by JL, but did not act to prevent him from obtaining a weapon or in any manner to rid him of the weapon he bought. Covering his ass.
@SirWinstonChurchill Or how about the Arizona legislature failing to pass common-sense gun restritions? Should they resign for advocating concealed weapons in public places?
Should a police officer resign every time a person commits a crime?
@SirWinstonChurchill It's pretty hard to provide absolute security in a state where any person can legally carry a concealed weapon. Or do you think we should have metal detectors at every event, in every building, on every sidewalk. Sounds like freedom to me. Should Bush have resigned over 9/11? (He was supposed to oversee the executive branch, i.e. protecting U.S. citizens from enemies foreign and domestic.) No. Neither should the sheriff. There's only so much you can do against crazy.
@rubberbaby00 - " Someday you are going to run that trashy commie mouth of yours to the wrong person and that tongue of yours will end up in a jar on someones fireplace mantle...." - - Henry Lee Lucas 1973
Thanks for reminding me that conservatives who already have lost every intellectual argument, will still use threats of violence. But let me educate you in a few facts. Not all liberals are "commies". And not all of us are 98 lb weaklings.
But I appreciate your concern for the welfare of my tounge.
"Who knows what motivated peope to do this." The 24 hour vitriol coming from the right wing. You know 24 hours about Obama is a Nazi and going to kill your family or turn this country into a communist or socialist country.
Fox News Alert. This hour Fox News has been unable to pop the bubble of accusations made by an Arizona Sherrif relating to a gunman in custody for the murder of several Arizona citizens. The Arizona lawman suggested that hate speech expressed by political personalities may have increased the liklihood that the gunman would act out his thought patterns. The Sherrif used political personality Sarah Palin as an example of this harmful rhetoric. We at Fox news can't deny the truth. We are fucked up
If the gunman had been a muslim would people be saying "who knows why people do these sort of things". And why hasnt the word terrorist been used? Politically motivated murder fits my definition of terrorism.
Sheriff Dupnik should have to answer why he did not post security at this event where a member of congress was speaking. Even after knowing of threats against congress who support border security. She was 60 minutes away from the border. Where was security for this event sheriff!!!???
@SirWinstonChurchill He should be suspended and brought up on charges of negligence. Fact: These people are dead because he refused to post officers at this event. He knew of the event ahead of time. He also knew of death threats to members of congress because they support border security. He also knew she had been the target of vandalism. Now he's putting the blame on TV and radio? Really?
@SirWinstonChurchill Really? Where is the proof? I remember Gov Brewer claiming that there are beheadings all over Ariz. by undocumented immigrants yet had NO proof. In fact, the coroner's office said they had ZERO BEHEADINGS.
@SirWinstonChurchill Thank you for showing us what America would be like if people like you ever get power again. You were very helpful. Again, thank you.
@SirWinstonChurchill If it's non-communist ones you're cruising for, I'm sure you can find some Republicans in your local airport bathroom stall. Thankfully you fellows don't believe in safe-sex so we won't have to worry about you for much longer. Enjoy!
ya know the sheriff did say rhetoric on both sides, Why is it only FOX and right wing radio is incensed by this and every one else is just reporting ?
This could all backfire if we come to find out that this guy never watched FOX and never listened to conservative talk radio. We don't have actual evidence of this, do we?
It's true, we've been waiting for this garbage to set someone off and see them do something like this, but it is reckless to assume without knowing that this is what happened. And if it's not what happened, it will be to the advantage of conservative radio and FOX.
@hanslute I think you bring up excellent points...but, the obvious, will be and should be examined...For example, Palin's districts in the crosshairs, which included Giffords...The fact that homeboy could walk into a store and buy a glock, which are the rights that the right wing extremists demand...There are very strong points to be made, even if this guy had absolutely nothing to do with right wing extremism...
@elrito1 I completely agree with you, and maybe this will help bring about the debates that you mention. I just fear that these accusations without proof aren't exactly helpful, and if they only are proven false, it will be mostly to FOX's and conservative talk's advantage--which isn't helpful. Let's also remember that FOX and conservative talk are quite notorious for unfounded speculation--many people seem to be doing just the same--no proof, and angry speech.
@hanslute As Sheriff Dupnik said, Arizona is ground zero for hate; 1000's of Minute-Men militia and assorted 'patriot movement' activist groups operate on the southern border of AR, whose activities can be directly linked to the right-wing media and extremist Republican messaging which has exacerbated public fears and inflamed debate on various issues, particularly in Arizona.
Even if Loughner never heard of Faux Nooz, he doubtlessly was affected by the charged political atmosphere in Arizona.
@PostSurgeOperative I've spent time in Tuscon, it's a liberal town, which explains why that congresswoman didn't lose her seat when many Democrats did. And there is a lot of hate in AZ overall, but calling it ground zero might be a bit much. We are all affected by politics, if it's local or on youtube. I live in Iowa. I'd rather live in Tucson than in western Iowa, the place where Steve King (R) reigns--there is far more intolerance there than in Tucson. If we see politics, we are affected.
@hanslute I used to live in Burlington VT, which is a VERY liberal city. After the VT Sup. Crt. ruling requiring the legislature pass a law to allow gays to get married, there was a right-wing uprising similar to what you see in Arizona today, with regard to immigration. Most of the proto-tea-bagger "TAKE BACK VERMONT"-type folks were scattered throughout the rural communities, and we didn't see them much in the larger towns, but the media markets were SATURATED with angry, right-wing messaging.
@PostSurgeOperative You are correct, the media is SATURATED with such right-wing messaging--fuck it, the media is just FALSELY saturated with what sells, generates revenue.
And it was the same in Iowa as to how you mentioned Vermont. The judges that allowed for gay marriage in Iowa all just got voted out in November, even though a number of them were put in office by a former Republican governor--it was a 'take back Iowa' sort of thing. The money came in, they got voted out--sad.
@hanslute We have not been waiting for this garbage to set someone off.... it's already happened, time and time, again; and then swept under the Main Spin Media rug.... Dr Tiller & Bill O' Reilly .... James von Brunn, Scott Roeder, Buford O. Furrow, Jr., Eric Robert Rudolph, Theodore Kaczynski, Timothy McVeigh, Joseph Andrew Stack...
@FriedDaisy I don't see how the media set off von Brunn, Furrow, Rudolph, Kaczynsik, or McVeigh--they all had issues that didn't necessarily seem to be tied to the media. I'll definitely give you Roeder (which you basically noted twice), and maybe Stack (but how do you know?). All the rest require a greater deal of speculation. I am also extremely opposed to the talk of the Right that might incite people to violence, but speculation (even if likely correct) is not proof enough for me.
I'm listening to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) on Hardball discussing the issues sounding violent political rhetoric. And she's reminding Chris how last year her opponent in her reelection campaign had one of these shooting range campaign events where he fired a gun at a silhouette marked with the initials DWS.
How could something so innocent lead to a misunderstanding?
Sure, NOW conservatives are calling for a stop to reckless speculations... Where were they when our president was called a Muslem Kenyan Terrorist trying to kill all of our grandmothers? Where were they when "2nd Amendment Remedies" were touted as a viable option to public debate or the electoral process? Whatever happened to "United We Stand, Divided We Fall"?
If these ppl were actually LEADERS they would take a stand here and agree with the sheriff. They would say that the rhetoric has become toxic and not only made actually governing difficult (bc how can you compromise with ppl you claim are evil destroyers of America?) but also has made it dangerous. But of course they aren't leaders, they are opportunists
This makes me sick to my stomach. This sheriff was saying what rational people all know already. The further or political discourse drifts right the more mainstream very radical speech has become. The fringe has become the defacto leadership of the conservative movement and the Becks of the world have power they wouldn't have just a few years ago. Words matter and the words that are spewed on right wing radio everyday will lead to more violence inevitably.
I think the sheriff would know better than all these whining little republicans about what kind of atmosphere there is in AZ. Doesn't he get the calls and reports of threats? Doesn't he listen to the radio shows and hear the same talking points in those threatening emails, letters and tweets? I believe Giffords husband knows as well.
Ah, so Sherrif Dupnik, stating the observable FACTS that the gunman aligned himself with Tea Party political values--which likely motivated his actions--is somehow "politicizing" the tragedy (almost as though the GOP have forgotten who Rudy Giuliani is).
In any spree killing, the motives of the murderer(s) are always at the forefront of speculation and public attention. In this case, those motives just happen to have been ultra-right-wing sentiments.
Yup, telling that when the liberals attacked these right wingers and told the righties to tone their rhetoric down, the liberals were told to shut up and support the Second Amendment as the Founders wanted.
Now that there's an actual body count, the right wingers are crying about the liberals "putting a political spin."
The righties got caught with their hands in the cookie jar, and are crying just like a kid would do, blaming everyone else but themselves for their heated rhetoric.
@jag10 and your proof that the shooter was a registered Dem? I thought he ranted about gold and was against the Fed, which would make him a Ron Paul libertarian.
Very interesting that Republicans are getting defensive. Dupnik never mentioned WHO was responsible for the incendiary rhetoric. And yet the Republicans are getting defensive. I think that, more than anything else, show that they KNOW that their base is getting pumped up on incendiary rhetoric, which they turn a blind eye to.
Why is any one surprised that the Conservatives would try to avoid admitting any kind of responsibility? That's their MO. Look at the Bush years and the Iraq war fuck up. They almost bankrupted our country and have yet to admit that any of their policies were detrimental.
Fuck FOX news. No one is saying the guy wasn't crazy. People are saying that when people like Palin "stir the pot" with violent rhetoric, they should have to face the fact that some crazy might take the idea and run.
When Glenn Beck spins his paranoid conspiracy theories on national television with the blessings of Rupert Murdoch and the entire Republican Party, he turns once normal people into paranoid schizophrenics . . .

This is a smokescreen and shameless political ploy. Dupnik's Sheriff's office and the county mental health system was likely negligent in following up on the numerous death threats that Loughner made in recent years. Loughner's mother works for the city council. Coincidence?

elrito1 1 year ago
@elrito1 I completely agree with you, and maybe this will help bring about the debates that you mention. I just fear that these accusations without proof aren't exactly helpful, and if they only are proven false, it will be mostly to FOX's and conservative talk's advantage--which isn't helpful. Let's also remember that FOX and conservative talk are quite notorious for unfounded speculation--many people seem to be doing just the same--no proof, and angry speech.
hanslute 1 year ago
@hanslute As Sheriff Dupnik said, Arizona is ground zero for hate; 1000's of Minute-Men militia and assorted 'patriot movement' activist groups operate on the southern border of AR, whose activities can be directly linked to the right-wing media and extremist Republican messaging which has exacerbated public fears and inflamed debate on various issues, particularly in Arizona.
Even if Loughner never heard of Faux Nooz, he doubtlessly was affected by the charged political atmosphere in Arizona.
PostSurgeOperative 1 year ago
@PostSurgeOperative I've spent time in Tuscon, it's a liberal town, which explains why that congresswoman didn't lose her seat when many Democrats did. And there is a lot of hate in AZ overall, but calling it ground zero might be a bit much. We are all affected by politics, if it's local or on youtube. I live in Iowa. I'd rather live in Tucson than in western Iowa, the place where Steve King (R) reigns--there is far more intolerance there than in Tucson. If we see politics, we are affected.
hanslute 1 year ago
@hanslute I used to live in Burlington VT, which is a VERY liberal city. After the VT Sup. Crt. ruling requiring the legislature pass a law to allow gays to get married, there was a right-wing uprising similar to what you see in Arizona today, with regard to immigration. Most of the proto-tea-bagger "TAKE BACK VERMONT"-type folks were scattered throughout the rural communities, and we didn't see them much in the larger towns, but the media markets were SATURATED with angry, right-wing messaging.
PostSurgeOperative 1 year ago

FriedDaisy 1 year ago

Hey Trent Franks you are not nearly as disappointed in the sheriff as Americans are with the state of the country.
If you give all this political rhetoric to a person who is disturbed and bizarre what might happen? Maybe he takes it to extremes.
