Excellent interview.At the end,I thought he would say religion.The tax free resources and waste of human intelligence on the mundane,along with planetary aggression of the human species, is a hinderance to scientific growth.A god did not create the Universe,but the man made concept of god may destroy mankind before science can solve life itself.It's simple.We are made of material that explodes,collides and replicates.Too bad people are afraid of their own back yard.(The Universe).

Lol, I wonder if Krauss ever thought about that God philosophically is nothing. And here is both aliens and the singularity. Many often have an idea about aliens to be hyperintelligent, yet angelic. What if they are bullies throwing galactic toiletrolls at earth. Or the singularity actually programs itself in unexpected ways, suddently demanding that you touch it`s joystick.
