Great song. I bought this CD online at SternsMusic.

A Congolese guy told me years ago that this song had Vadio Mambenga fingerprints all over it. Vadio was trying then to get into the stars-studded Isifi Lokole.

I was also told that Vadio Mambenga had a great influence on Isifi Lokole chant. Especially on Wemba and Bozi who switched to a mongala and wendo-like way of singing . Everybody knows that Isifi Lokole brought a new style of singing that reminded people of the old Wendo days.

@papyoli C'est simplement Evoloko et Mavuela qui contituent le duo répondant à Papa Wemba et Bozi. C'était l'attaque chant de ISIFI qui venait de claquer la porte à Zaiko Langa-Langa.

@Nazadanze: Effectivement, on entend FIKO FIKO FIKO FIKOOOH (cri de PAPA WEMBA), et un peu plus loin " BIKO BIKO BIKO BIKO...SHOLAA., FIGNOLER LA MUSICA ", cri de MAVUELA SOMO (qui etait tres dynamique na ba cris). Notez l'harmonie des deux cris: BIKO 4 fois.

FIKO sonne mieux que BIKO. Mais BIKO, c'etait le drummer et SHORA, le soliste.

By the way, ba instruments ebetama danzer na nzembo oyo. OTES (Lokole), ADA (Accompa), SHORA (solo).

On approche ici la QUINTESSENCE du SOLO CONGOLAIS.
