i love this exhuast. but where im from (Delaware) everyone says it is discontinued and i cant even special order one. so i went with a Greddy Ti-C racing cat-back exhaust
@NorwegianNightmare88 Then this is the exhaust for you. It does not have a fart cannon sound, does not drone on the interstate, and is comfortably audible at WOT.
i was wondering cuz on clubrsx it says it doesnt include bolts from the exhaust to the cat or header...i have a type-s. Jw cuz i dont know anything about installing exhaust systems
Nice, I'm from Columbia, school in Georgia though. Also have k20a3 base auto, did you try the HKS hi power? I'm trying to decide between the Evo 2 and the HKS
The car was warmed up before I washed it, and I did let it run a little bit before this video. But yes, it does sound cold in the video. The piping says 60-70 mm (~2.5 inches) and I measured the tip to be just over 4 inches, I believe.
It did warm up first, I just turned the car off before starting the video. I could have let the viewer listen to my car idle for 5 minutes, but that tends to get dull, especially on a base auto with only one performance upgrade.
It's a 2003 and GReddy makes an evo2 for the base model. Super easy install, only hard part was getting the old bolts off. And nope, no welding at all. Got it for under 500 :)
Yep.. Mine was a bit different tho. I got a DC race header from a type-S so I had to get a custom b-pipe. But in all.. really happy with the exhaust. Not too loud and not too soft. It has a deep hum to it too. Mmm...
And yes.. the old bolts were the hardest part. Especially if you live where I do where it snows. Salt gets on that bad boy and pretty much rusted on there.
this exhaust is sick

You reuse the stock hangers, but other than that, yes it did.

The one I got did come with those bolts, which was good because I bent the crap out of the stocks bolts trying to get them off.

carlosjavierPR 3 years ago

let your car warm up next time instead of idling at 2000 rpm

oh my bad, its just sounds like its idling high, got the same exhaust and its awesome
