@XBlade132 Yeah, it's stupid for people to hate DC Universe just because there was very little violence. It's still an awesome game. The big thing about that game that I loved was the Klose Kombat system, Test Your Might system, and the Free Fall Kombat system. They kept the fights really interesting. They kept you on your toes. I wish they had them in MK9.

@Gordaton ed boon did what he could with the heavy restrictions and what he did with it was optimal. i loved mk8.just as much as 7, 6, or 5. and as far as mk9 goes, it's definitely the best since umk3 (in my personal opinion)

I know this (as well as Deadly Alliance and Deception) got bashed a lot, but I still liked Armageddon. To me, Mortal Kombat's games last gen were in the same position as Sonic and Star Fox, they had games that got bashed, but I ended up enjoying them.

First of all; Midway was bought out by Warner Bros. and Midway changed their name to Nether Realm Studios. The team who made all the MK's are the same exact people who made MK 9.

On top of that; Kung Lao is NOT Liu Kang's father. He's considered to be his great great grandfather ( or great great great grandfather, not sure) due to relations with The Great Kung Lao.

Remember, some of the 'classic' fatalties were a bit shorter than the custom ones that they put in the game - *and it the controls were a bit more simple (like mabe STREET FIGHTER), then they may have had more space on the CD for that (AND GET RID OF THAT DAMN MOTOR KOMBAT) - **some combos of pt3 woulda been AWESOME too!!!
