I ride the same road, I feel your pain , way too many sand traps up there. I normally do a survey ride up before hitting those twistys. He saw the sand and panicked, when i see the sand i keep steady hand on throttle, look through the turn and 9/10 you make it with just a slide of the rear....
i dont mean to point fingers,but this can be educational.looks like he was too hard on the rear brake(locked instantly after dirt)and he had too much angle(coulda made it strait thru there with right prep)

I think his mistake was not looking into the corner, he kept looking at where he was going to end up :)
