McCain does have quite a bit of foreign policy experience, but my problem is that all of his plans are too old school. A league of democracies is not going to work anymore because some of the major economic powers of this NEW AGE are not democratic and excluding them would be detrimental to our stnding in the world (which is already on crumbling ground).We have to appear willing to talk because many other countries now view us as overly aggressive and in turn will not want to cooperate with us.

Obama was just more genuine. A higher % of McCain's answers either sounded like political grandstanding, evasive generalizations, or attempted smears. Obama was more specific and clarifying.

CBSs poll of 500 uncommitted voters who watched found this: 40% said Obama won, 38% said it was a draw, and 22% called McCain the winner. CNN had Obama winning 51-38% overall, winning on the economy 58-37%, and even winning on Iraq 52-47%.
This was clearly a homerun for Obama. He hit it out of the park.

McCain was expected to win on questions of foreign policy and national defense. Thats been his background. Where he routed Obama was on economic and spending questions as he repeatedly accusing Obama of using earmarks and wanting to spend too much.

I'm sorry, but Barack Obama ins't running on being against earmarks. It are the 25 or so year senator who wants to run on 'change', and 'thrift'. The problem is that Palin comes from a state that gets more earmarks per inhabtant than any other state in the Union. And McCain is one of the Keating 5 - the only reason he didn't take Keating's money was that he didn't need to be bribed to deregulate the banking system.
McCain's was *lying* all over the place, which I think is relevant.

The reason Mccain wasn't looking at Obama was because he wasnt talking to him. And he seemed angry probabley because He Had to practically teach Obama About War strategies during the debate. I thought it was kinda funny how clueless Obama Was. And everythime he was pressured he went back to him life, But When McCain was pressured he actually answered the questions. People should make sure of what they are voting for.
Everybody agrees sub-prime loans are the single biggest reason for the problem with the economy. The largest ($5 trillion) companies involved with sub-prime loans is Fannie-mae and Freddie Mac. One question to ask yourself is, Who and What party received contributions for them and how much? Then you will know who allowed this economic problem to come about.
You should look it up and then decide who you want to run this country.

I have a Medical Retirement from The Marine Corps, I left part of my leg and arm in Viet Nam and I would do it all over again. I did it so all could voice their opinion But when them Media does what it is doing then it is no longer a opinion it is a bold face lie. This goverment might not be perfect but it is the best one on this Planet. I am in touch with many military personnel who are coming back and over there and they mostly say They are proud of what they are doing. Are You?
