O teclado é bom, porém o tecladista não tem uma pegada boa pra aproveitar o timbre que o instrumento oferece. Ele toca como se estivesse tocando um piano. A pegada é quem faz a diferença.

Realmente, tenho de concordar. Ele toca como pianista. Tecladista geralmente desliza mais, "retalha" (shred) mais nas teclas.

This is not a good advert for Roland's "guitar mode"! It's not the keyboard by the way. It sounds wrong because he's playing like a keyboardist instead of like a guitarist. That's why it sounds stilted, mechanical. For those talking about the old Roland vs Yamaha vs Korg thing. They all have their strengths. I have had the Korg M3, Roland Fantom X and currently have a Yamaha XS6. You buy what does the job for "you". I still prefer Roland though and that's where I'm heading now :) Fantom G! :)

Yeah, depends.. I own a motif XS8, but I also love the korg oasys and m3 sounds (karma did a great job) and Rolands fantom g is stunning too.. They really are close to each other and it depends what you wanna do with the synth.. I love my XS, but still I am a bit looking for a fantom g or an oasys.. ;)

@elingenieroluciano : that's not right ! ...all roland arranger keyboards must be be edited...if you play them without a sound fix or something it sounds not good.and the drum sounds of the e 80 are the same as the TD 20 V drum samples ! so it is the best you can get !

all keyboards are excellents, Tyros 3 is a Dream, Roland E-80 is great, but this style is not good, not even the guitar he used,

Arrangers (Keyboard Styles) never gonna sound like a synthesizer or a BAND, no even the Tyros 3.

este teclado es una porqueria, primero que hasta el tyros 1, !!!que es re viejo!!!! es mucho mejor en el sonido de la guitarra y en los estilos.Y APARTE EL TYROS 3 ES EL MEJOR TECLADO DEL MUNDO!!!! I have the Rolnd E80 and Im only just getting used to the guitar mode. This mode is the grandfather of all guitar modes.

U can also have the slide noises when playing the acoustic guitar.

This rocks.

Shame the weight is a bit too much. other than that, one of the best instruments.

its good but the sounds i dont like they are sharp and go in your ears this is were yamaha gets you gguys lol i had a casio wk 3800 thy try to copy roland sounds have you guys noticed casio sucks but i think they did a pretty good job cpying rolands sound thye to have these sharp sound to it m a yamaha guy

You can change the attack on almost any keyboard/synth, so Yamaha can't really be given an edge over this just for the sharpness...
