either you aren't locking out your arms, or your jumping straight back. when you're jumping, try to jump at a 45 degree angle and look for the ground.
and ur still alive :p?..you need to practice a lot of handstands... you are landing like that because you need some arm strength.. hope it goes better.. gd luck

i do gymnastics and i can do a backhand spring but with a spot and it is kinda like that but alittle different because at one point in the begining your body is in the air with nothing touching the ground and you to go real fast!
Your back handspring is perfect for on the grass where u need to go higher...but not so gd for a gymnast on a sprung floor where the flips need to be fast and long maybe u should mention that in your video?

Get someone to spot you. I was terrified of donig it on my own. I could do it great with my coacgh there, but I was still to scared to do it. She just started helping less and less and by the end she only had one finger on the back of my thigh - after that it seemed kind of stupid not to just do it on my own.

It's easier if you're really small. Kids have bigger bodies and shorter legs and smaller arms, making their center of gravity easier to find. Still cool though, Wake-Up can do this with hinds hands on the inside.

Hey i started trying back handsprings 2 weeks ago and now i'm working on roundoff doubles. I never had a spot or anything. Try them on a trampoline first for about a week straight. You gain a lot of confidence. Then one day, when your adrenaline is pumping on the trampoline, get down and do one on the ground. Once you get the feel of them ,they're really fun and you can show them off anywhere! GOOD LUCK, AND DON'T BE AFRAID!

that didbt help much, maybe try and say how you should practice learning? Im sure most people (without a background in gymnastics/martial arts/breaking, or anyone who is conditioned well) will just go out and try it.
