  • I think I would get a sense of it if I had that setup..otherwise not.

  • We Are Spartans!

  • when i come to a tv do u always go for plasma or would u also buy a LED or a LCD i just want to ask because i been thinking about buyiing a plasma just been worried about u know burn in and orther things i been useing a lcd tv most of my HD life lol so .also what is your thoughts on panasonic do u like there survise.

  • Yeah you're gonna need a bigger screen, but nice set up.

  • for an arrangement like that the tv looks like a 32 needs to be 45 or bigger and the center channel is too high

  • nice setup bud.

  • u need a projector or somthing but great surround sound love klipsch!

  • Was I just in a battle?

  • I think your set up is not match the standard requirement

  • Get an EMOTIVA XPA-5.... it will Rock it out -- You need more power there so it seems

  • Get an EMOTIVA XPA-5.... it will Rock it out

  • Please ....can you tell me how Klipsch does the mid's ? I mean are the dialogues clear and understood well ? I'm not that much into bass and all, i dig clear sound where words sound super clear...

Would you advice my Klipsch for movies ?

Please rep me back...and many Thanks !

  • @imfxxz i have the ful rf 62 system dude and they couldnt be better for movies etc. dialogue is crystal clear, highs and mids are exquisit as the speakers are horn loaded. i couldnt be happier with my system, room is about 30ftx17ft and it more than fills the room

  • @clarkinusn Thanks for your response !!!

  • @imfxxz anytime

  • Anyone know the lifespan on these things?

  • You need a bigger screen dude! I feel like the small tv loses the movie theater effect.

  • yeah, my cousin has the same setup and it sounds freaking awesome!

  • Uhm this sounds amazing on the computer. Can you imagine this in real life? Holy crap.

  • beautiful setup but PLEASE put your center channel elsewhere!!

  • a bigger TV would be nice...lucky I wish I had those kind of speakers, but since I live in a apartment they wouldn't be used to their full potential.

  • Nice ! I like how you got the center channel up , mine is the same set up except below screen.

  • Sweet!

  • These are not RF, they are the classical line.

  • Klipsch is the best for home theater.

  • I think you might need a better TV to go with that!.... : P

  • nice system but it would be sooooo much nicer if you did a little acoustic treatment to the room

  • @jkalus5890 totally hardwood floors murder home theater sound a little carpet goes a long way

  • lol @ 1:02

  • Nice equipment! I like it! may I suggest to widen the distance between your front right and left? I said between 10 to 12 feet apart. And make it toe in a little. (angle to a center about 5 degree) It will give you a better stereo and surround imaging. Also your center channel speaker is a bit to high! Should be ear level. Other than that its a nice set up!

  • It'd be nice if the CC could be mounted lower.

  • you need a bigger tv

  • for that immersive sound? a bigger tv is a must!!

  • are those wires to the right of the tv?

  • Great system man! The only Klipsch in my HT is the RW-10d subwoofer. The others are Energy and JBL. I'm sure yours sounds great!

  • Hello, I am glad for you man, Klipsch is the way to go. I have a little observation, in my harman kardon receiver manual is mentioned that the tweeters from your front left and right channel should be to no more then 60 cm apart from the thweer of the center channel (regarding height). Could you tell me what receiver are you using in this video. Thanks!

  • Oops grill? i meant fireplace. sorry i was hungry hehe.

  • it's not possible, it's angled down about 35 degrees ... best i can do .... we're moving to a new pad soon so we'll see

  • Nice system dude but one recommendation would be to mount the center speaker above the grill so its more in line with the mains. Just a suggestion.

  • Klipsch ftw!

  • I like your setup, very clean. How much are each of those towers valued at? I never really did much research on klipsch, I'm into Polk LSI series.

  • Wow you blew those tweeters jesus how loud was it?> i have the RF-63's love them with the RC-64 center channel. Hope you go back to Klipsch very awesome speaker

  • I didn't blow them. The little Onk receiver is rated WAY below their handling capacity and it wasn't even jacked up that much, certainly not to clipping.

I expect to have these for a very long time.

  • thats an onkyo amp sorry thought it was a sony es amp. you dont need much power with klipsch speakers how did the amp clip?

  • I not aware that it did clip...

selling the avr 445 and going back to onkyo... TX-SR805

  • @albert20121 Who said anything about it being blown?

  • I like Kilpsch i had the RF-83 series blew out the horns. How IDK! So i decided to go for Martin Logan. They are out standing pice of speakers. Even though they are electro static, i hate that you need to be positioned to hear great sound!! I think im going back to Klipsch.

  • I wonder how much the sound is off by having the centre so high also i wonder if the floor is forgiving for the bass and for the echoe of music the room doesn't seem to be dead enough for the amount of power and finally is that a new Sony ES amp?

  • I wanna know what the bang sound like on that 12" 650watt subwoofer.when music is played. make a demo of that cuz im very convinced and want to buy the whole setup :)

  • OMG this is sick the amp layout speakers omg dude i no mins is nothing compared and i swear to god im no fanboy..but please let me know what u think of my gear!!

    urs is insaneman 5/5 *****

  • Duuuude, that had to be looouuuuddd to move the cones that much!! holy F$*$. I can't go paast -30 db on my receiver and it's sounds outstanding. and oh yeah, i got klipsch too!! RF system:)

  • Yeah bro I almost have the same setup except I just have the a Martin Logan decent i sub and the RF-7s. You might wanna find a different room for that too. the TV mounted above the fire place seems somewhat awkward, and center channels always sound better at ear level. not to mention the wood floor is awful for acoustics. Heck, just flipping around the set up to the back wall would work better, all you would need a TV stand.

  • Not cool... Very amateur and ugly.

I'd find another place to put the TV (looks stupid there). And remember, the center channel is the most important speaker in a surround setup. I would worry about where you put that before your TV. This all just makes it look like you have no clue what you're doing. Like you went to Best Buy, bought some junk, then set it up like an idiot.

    Very sad.

  • Centre channel is in an odd position dare I say. Klipsch are great for movies, it's just they struggle with music.

  • acualy its the other way around. there coned aluminum teeters make it incredibly bright (almost too bright) but can be toned down with a good eq or different crossovers

  • how much tha cost?

  • wow...nice man!!!but why the center ch have to be at the top of the tv? might make the sonic stage weird....it should be located at height not more than the main ch I guess...Just a suggestion...no offense...dude your set is awesome and it is my dream to have that group of air pump blow out the silence in my house everyday...KLIPSCH RULEZZZ!!!!

  • no other option... it's tilted down about 25-30 degrees.

  • Oh well, get a spl meter and make sure to get same level sound for were your seating. It'll be fine, the horns do well with spreading the sound. Maybe tilt it downward. Nice system!

  • It is tilted down about 20 degrees. I just used the setup mic that came with my receiver. I guess I should pick up a sound meter also.

  • Definately lower the center channel! I have the klf20s as mains klf 7 as a center and rb81 as rear channels. There hooked up to a acurus act3 pre amp with seperate acurus amps for the mains and one for the center and rears and a vel.hgs18 sub.(big room) nice system though.

  • I can't, no where to put it.

  • Nice system! It looks like you don't have the towers pointing at you though (if you sit in the middle) You want to have them with a little "toe in". I dunno lol, it just looks that way from the vid. Nice stuff though!

  • What Receiver are you running those with?....I had some Sb3s, not the best for Klipsch, but I want something like you have,....*drools*

  • was an older Onkyo.. i have a Harman AVR445 now though and it's much more powerful. Moving back to Onkyo next year, probably TX-SR805 uuummm TXH Ultra

  • What crossover settings are you using for the sub? I have a pair of Klipsch RF-63's, RS-62's, an RC-64 and the RT-12d and none of the woofers move as much as yours did in this video since the sub is taking care of much of the bass.

BTW, my crossover is set on 80Hz.

  • I set it on full bass just for the video... then back to 80hz

  • Excellent choice in your Audio System...but your Flat Panel choice leaves very little to be desired...

  • i must say it sounds much better now that I have a little beefer Harman amp vs. the cheaper onkyo.

  • I have two Polk tsi-400 and one polk center and a klipsch 12 sub klipsch has a kick ass sub! Nice setup man

  • God look at those abs......

Im gonna have to watch this movie again tonight. I'm looking at picking up the RF-82s this week sometime. I was a HUGE Energy fan, but now I'm more partial to Klipsch.

  • nice home theater setup

  • U got my Dream System! Im Jealous LOL!!! Nice vid!

  • I like how you put up a shelf to support your center chanmnel and how it has the legs to tilt it down torwards the listener. That's what I'm going to do. Again, nice video. 5 stars!!!

  • you got good sound but wheres the projector???? your theater will be 1000x better believe me check mine out.

  • Nice setup dude! I watched 300 with my uncle's klipsch rf 62 system. It was amazing! I have one question though. What receiver do you have and what would you recommend for klipsch speakers? I'm thinking about getting my own set.

  • I've used both an Onkyo TX-SR601, Harman AVR-435 and Harman AVR-445. The Harman sounds better simply because it has more power. It's really not fair to compare the models i've owned because they are in different classes. If you have the dough you can't beat an Onkyo TX-SR805. It's THX Ultra 2 certified and has a beefy amp section. Plus you get the latest processing for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA. They go for about $450. My AVR-435 was $250 shipped from Harman Direct with warranty. I love it.

  • Great set-up. To get the full effect you need to consider moving the rs and rc down to listening level. At that height, you are losing alot of the soundstage. my .02

  • I realize that. However the way my walls are setup and the tv being above the fireplace i'm limited. I do fire the center down towards the listening position so that helps. The surrounds are a little high but seem to do a good job with above head effects like helicopters, planes, and bombs. My next house will be more ideal because i plan to build it myself.

  • Klipsch are great for HT but for music they are waaayyy to harsh and fatiguing, you'd be better off with B&W or Kef's

  • People need to consider the recording as well, Klipsch speakers, the good ones, not the crap sold at Best Buy will give you everything, the good and the bad in a recording. Some people can't handle the accurate way these speakers are and prefer speakers that color the sound.

As for the guy who posted this video, the rears and center are way too high unless of course you're 9ft tall.

  • beautiful set up mate your subs just as cool to watch in action as mine......see what you think of my setup

  • hey these are nice speakers, they are reasonably new right? how are they compared to the RF 82/83's? are they basically the same thing?

  • yea pretty new 3-4 years old. built until 06

I think the specs of the rf-5 and 82 are pretty similar. However i'm pretty sure the 82's are built in asia and the 5s were built in the US. I plan to eventually replace the mains with RF-7s to they whole system will match. Need more room first though.

  • gonna get a blu ray player sound really jump at you great setup hope it brings enjoyment for yrs

  • that's actually the arrows falling around them... it's sounds crazy in person. like arrows are falling over the room.

  • The detail of the birds chirping is rediculous, and even over a camera microphone.

  • Awesome Set up! Klipsch are awesome! I own the Cinema 6 speakers paired with a RW10D sub! love it

  • Nice Setup, ill probably go for a klipsch theatre too. Either them, Parydigm or B&W

  • Don't you think your center channel and surrounds are mounted a little too high? Then again most of us don'nt have rooms that are optimized for HT, I know I've had to compromise on speaker placement in some places I've lived in. Just never been satisfied with the layout of the rooms.

  • i think the base of the surround is about 7 feet... probably a little too high but it's the best i can do with my room

  • Nice to see them finally set-up I bet they sound awesome!

  • very nice set up bro

can you please tell me at what hieght you set your surround speakers just want to know for knowledge

  • very nice as soon as I get a descent camera i'll share mine as well!

  • very nice. I'm going to add a center and some sorrounds to mine klipsch system pretty soon. I like the back speakers bolted up on the wall.
