there were originally like 3 directors and the movie changed the title like 3 times. production took forever to make the film in its entirely form, the first director gotten really sick but by the time they got a new director, he died. the second director gotten sick too but did not die then the last final director made the movie in the full completion. the original title was The Exorcist: The Beginning but with some complications they switched it to Dominion: Prequel of Exorcist
The reason it seems like it could be the Hagia Sophia is because it is also a Byzantine church, albeit a deeply corrupted one. But the Hagia Sophia has been in continuous usage since its completion in 537, though it was unfortunately converted into a mosque in 1453. But this one was abandoned long ago, and for damn good reason too.
This is the best movie-shot of a single demon triumphant upon human beings ... a single demon destroyed like 3 thousand life .... nice work... a single old demon from sumerian pantheon, the lesser god of evil wind: Pazuzu...
its rather unfair that people criticize this film mainly for the fact that its not as good as the original, but to be fair there is no comparison, the original is the best

Very scary. The landscaping looks as though it could be where the Hagia Sophia is now, but what it looked like before there were buildings.
