@nbg154 It's technically a condor, but my dictionary says they're part of the New World vulture family.

Wikipedia (FWIW) seems to think that there are also Old World vultures, and they are part of a family that also includes eagles and hawks, but the condor isn't part of that line. Make of that what you will.

Am I the only person who actually liked Silverbolt in BM? I dug the whole 'fallen knight' angle - I just found the character compelling and interesting, both in Beast Wars and Machines. I liked the fact that the guy could be tainted and ruined and yet he is still going to come back from it - he will regain his light. And he does, of course. I just find the guy amazingly heroic. I guess the samurai thing - they were going for a ronin motif.

@poppotaku And this is kind of my point - he did evolve and change. As much as I loved BW Silv, there wasn't really anywhere to go with his character as Blackarachnia was generic Maximal by this point and they were firmly 'in relationship'. Short of Silverbolt falling in love with someone else, but that wouldn't be true to his honour either. This makes sense - his honour was forcibly stripped and tainted - he had no choice. And like someone else said, he's still calm in anger!

I liked Silverbolt better in Beast Wars in terms of his appearence and his personality. I know the story gose his time as a Vehicon changed him but I miss the old half wolf, half dog form. I'd like to see a transorgasnic version of his Beast Wars beast mode.

And why dose no one mention Depthcharge, Dinobot, Airazor, Tigertron or Tigerhawk? I know they're mostly dead but come on, not even a mention in a flash back? They barely even mention Rhinox/Tankor after he dies.

@tenzeku123 Dinobot died in "Code of Hero", sacrificing himself to save a group of proto-humans. Dinobot II was created by Megatron, using half of Rampage's spark, but he died at the conclusion of the "Nemesis" finale.

Seasons 2 and 3 of Beast Wars were 13 episodes also. CGI is not inexpensive to produce, particularly back in the mid/late-90s.

BTW, Transformers Animated has also been 13 episodes per season.

Good question. Some of that stuff just seems to have been quietly abandoned, such as "I am Transformed".

The "I am Transformed" mantra was mostly a tool for focusing the mind to transform. For the Maximals, transforming became second nature, so they didn't need to say it. As for how Silverbolt did it...I can only speculate.

I think he focused so much on doing damage to Megatron at the time and it resulted in him having the strength of mind to transform without having to say "I am transformed".

The only thing i hated about BM is that the creators had apparently never watched the original transformers or Beast Wars for that matter. Thats why the different body concepts came from, and the whole "zen" and "inner center" transformations that led the show to the bottom of transformers favorites
