  • Its a Violin Solo. Piano is just accompaniment. These transcriptions are nice though.

  • But the piano could sound a bit louder at some passages.

  • This is a piece written by Bach for unaccompanied solo violin. Schumann had the idea of adding a piano, which is done very tastefully but unobtrusively.

  • violin is predominant.

  • So is the violin or piano the main instrument? Or is this a fairly balanced duet? I think the violin sounds more prominent.... ???
