Being able to duplicate instruction from videos or books is always difficult.
Teachers are in classrooms, and although they use video, books, etc.- hands on instruction helps the student more fully understand what is being communicated.
The left wrist needs to be bent and in a vertical plane and the left elbow pointing down at the left hip.
From here the left hand can be correctly placed on the handle of the club
I have a large(glovesize) hand and consequently my hand overlaps more and my snuffbox appears not on top of the grip but to the right. I already have a mediumsized grip. If I rotate my hand to the left and put my snuffbox on top of the grip, the clubface will now turn open because my hand wants to be in a natural overlapping situation with a bend wrist.
Thanks for the question!
