yeah, the lobbyist need to go. as for the home loan failures, there is not 1 person or even a 1 group to blame because the blame goes far. i worked n responsible commercial lending and I dealt with local mortgage brokers that would get their clients to agree to overstate their income and game the system & appriasers that would overstate the value of homes so the fault is far and wide and those who defrauded others should pay although these bad ppl are mixed with good ppl and hard to sort out.

Show me one thing that McCain has made a good decision? You can't. Obama was right about Iraq and has killed more then 4,000 brave US troops, or about the Bush tax cut. The same tax cut that McCain said no twice to, but flip flopped. Why would I vote for someone who constantly gets things wrong? Why would I vote for someone who wont even vote on his own bill? Show me executive experience with McCain that you keep saying?

No, he was a horrible president. I am 37 now and I remember everyone back then, including my Democratic father complaining about how bad Carter was and how he had run the nation into the ground. Everyone was estactic when Reagan won the election. Matter of fact, Carter was the last time my Democratic father ever voted for a Democrat for office. Now, I do admit that Carter as redeemed himself in other roles since his presidency but never the less, he was an awful president.

I know Carter is a fun punching bag because he dresses like Mister Rogers and he likes to make peace instead of shooting at people, but, when you check the record, he was actually a pretty damn good president, MUCH better than Reagan who did everything he could to tear apart social programs and send all the money to the uppermost classes, but still manages to be a political demigod in the minds of many americans.

Your comment completely ignores the fact that the democratically elected secular government of Iran was destroyed by the Shah who was a puppet installed by US and UK oil interests and planted the seeds for revolution. Also the 'hostage crisis' was, most likely, solved before Carter left office, but George Bush I and his CIA flunkies made sure that the hostages weren't returned until Reagan took over for symbolic appeal. War has ALWAYS caused more problems than it hs solved through history.
