I wait until one week before I bring him home to meet my mom. But she usually finds out before then, because I live with her. :(
But that's just because she's always uber protective, and doesn't trust me or them or whatever.
Dad, on the other hand, knows the same day I've been asked out.
Can't help you with hiding it, unless you can make sure he knows you can't tell her quite yet.
