Uhm, hey.. Im just wondering.. does the models look any different if you had a White Primer model painted blood red then a Black primer model painted mechrite red then blood red?
how similar is flesh wash to brown ink? My army is very dependant of brown ink and I have a number of other uses for brown ink. since GW has discontinued the ink I need a replacement and citadel gryphonne sepia isn't close enough.
Semi-decent tutorial, try to add text to telll us what colours and products are bieng used in each step (this would be really helpful to new players/painters like me) also, can you make a vid for tau empire

ok im new to warhammer but excuse me, i got assualt on the black reach with alot of space marines that i think were supposed to be blue, whats a conversion and can they suddenly be bloodangels if i paint them red
Ok, first since I've been painting for a few months I know what you used to make that model look good. But people who are new to it should have a more detailed tutorial rather than a 35 second vid just showing what you do. At least label what stuff you are using
heh im a professional painter who sells professionally painted models i prefer doing space marines because they're easier to add detail without going over the top i recommend using a fine thin brush for everything
nope, sry, did all the painting myself, but ure right, its a pretty big step because i did all the details and highlighting in the last step =) guess it cant be helped
Well, you could also do it that way, but i doubt that there will be any statisfying shadows with red ink, id use brown ink or flesh wash in any case. It doesn't really matter if you use blazing orange or fiery orange, depends on what you like/ what you have at hand.
Wow what a tutorial? Lol

superxtracrispy 3 years ago

spacemarinedude12 3 years ago
i meant that on some blood angels depending on the company has to have black shoulder trims.
superxtracrispy 3 years ago
it doesn't have to have black shoulder trims, that is completely optional.

paint it silver and drybrush it black
pcpwnage 3 years ago
i personally like the opposite, base with black and drybrush silver, it looks really cool, try it
Saxmaster96 2 years ago
could you just water down the ink heaps so you dont have to go back over it too much? :P
OHCOpinionChannel 3 years ago
that would be a solution I guess, didn't try it though since I never had any problems with covering the mistakes.
AisforArtsi 3 years ago
if you want a different method, try jawaballs. Hes insane at painting. Try different ways, then pick the best one, or the easiest one.
ruttman15 3 years ago
Maybe it was black ink or flesh wash?
nilo4ever 3 years ago
You can use black ink, but it's harder to cover up mistakes and the brown ink looks like black ink anyway if you apply enough of it.
In the pictures of this video I use brown ink!
AisforArtsi 3 years ago
GREAT VID! 5stars
Saxmaster96 2 years ago
So the way i see it, it goes
1: Prime chaos black
2: Paint with mechrite red
3: Go over everything with Blood red
4: Inking with red Ink
5: Go over once again with Blood red
6: And finally a highlight with fiery orange perhaps?
7: Finish all the details
nilo4ever 3 years ago
Well, you could also do it that way, but i doubt that there will be any statisfying shadows with red ink, id use brown ink or flesh wash in any case. It doesn't really matter if you use blazing orange or fiery orange, depends on what you like/ what you have at hand.
