The only way we could power cars when I was a kid was to run them down the stairs. Then my mom would trip over the hot wheels track and smack us with it. Getting whupped with hot wheels track hurts like hell.

Two d-cells. On the older (gray) ones, they actually used four, along with the new Criss Cross Crash booster(s), but you can see why.

Any one know where you can by indivisual track pieces insted of sets to make a custom track

Toys R Us sells longer pieces for about 89 cents a piece (with track connector). Wal-Mart carries 5 smaller track piece packs, each with connectors for about 2 dollars.

Personally I'd go for the Wal-Mart option, just because you can use smaller pieces better than a long piece.

u can't use two cars if u have 2 cars of equal speed then yah u could but if u did your track and your hand will get hit by the on coming car
