That is still baby dredge and the dragon they showed was Tahabata, the boss you fight for achieving an S Rank Dark Poeta. 2.0 is where they introduced Balaurea, the new forts, the new instances such as the arena and such and such. YOu need to brush up on your AION buddy.

I agree and disagree. I got to level 30 in Aion and I too noticed that progression slowed down A LOT. Not to mention That the first group instance wasn't until level...25 (can't remember exactly) and was so restrictive - i.e. once per day (as I recall anyway), and level capped.

There are 2 sides of it because I think leveling in WoW was "too" easy...there has to be a middle ground. I used to play FFXI which was just downright ridiculous...you couldn't even level without a full group... -_-

Also, no amount of expansions will ever convince me to rejoin WoW. I quit that when patch 3.2 or 3.3 came out. Blizzard basically told us "hey thanks for all the nights you wasted raiding Ulduar but now anyone can get the same gear you have by running regular Heroics, gg!"

I hope Cataclysm fails, Blizz has dumbed down that game way too much...WoW used to be a good game.

They really could make aion more playable for other categories of players. It consist for 99% of grinding and grinding which really gets boring after a while. I played Aion for 6 months but i canceled my membership.

Alltough, the graphs are incredible and I really enjoyed playing Aion in those 6 months, but there was nothing new in it after a while so.

Maybe I'll try it again after a couple of patches!

@Kluelessness U have no idea dude. Aion is not the same as WoW. For example. PvePvP, wow dont have that. Crafting system is lot more different than WoWs. Travelling to Enemy territory is differnt, u have to go through rifts wich is only one way and are not always open. ITs a BIG difference between WoW and Aion, not even combat system is the same, aion have chain skills which u use. I bet u havnt even played aion. And yes the graphics own wows. WoW had crappy graphics when it was released lol.

The game is very nice yes, and as i was reading through comments people mentioned that Aion isn't a grind? I'm sorry to tell some of you this, but there is some grind in Aion. Unless the 1.5 patch has added a ton of quests, you will be grinding a level here and there. I grinded at least two or three getting to 30. So who knows about it after. I'm ready to play the game tho. Waitin my collectors edition :)

You're correct. Even in the open beta, with the new quests added, getting to 30 did take some grinding. There are a few level gaps where grinding is the only option to keep a steady leveling pace. If we're lucky, those gaps will be filled before the launch.

You can take any piece of dlothing or armor in the entire game and put the stats of your real armor onto it. So you could wear a roleplaying set or even something as stupid as a santa suit that has your entire sets stats on it and make it your actual full-time gear.
