i can run the demo on all high with x4 antianilizing with no lag, sometimes a little but nothing i can't handle. but if i can run that, could i run the real game on very high? with only say x2 anti or even none with smooth framerate? cause demo does not let you go very high. or do i need dx10 to go very high.
you can get some applications to allow you to get very high on dx9, we actually have a vid on how to do that, but im not sure how your computer would handle it, as i dont know what is in the demo. but iwth that said i reckon youd have a good chance of running it on high specs
crysis feels a bit rushed, and what you get (storyline, online gameplay) is simply not what you paid for.
CoD4 on the otherhand feels very polished, with no areas making you feel as if something is missing. they are both decent games, yet CoD4 is a much better one. (sorry about bad grammar, its 3 am)
ooo i actually havnt seen the specs of any of the 9 series, ever since i got my new pc i havnt been interested in hardware (software and game ftw!). so i guess i cant help you on that question, but im sure if u use a little google you should find a good comparison site somewhere.
the 8800gt has nothing to do with lag becouse its a draphic card. lag has to do with what your processer is my processer is a Q6700 with liquid cooling i get no lag at all!!!:) check out my specs on my channle for my pc!!!!!!!!:)
ohh, im really not quite sure, as i havnt seen what the 8500's can pull off. your ram and processor is ok, but look up some benchmarks for 8500's to get a good idea of whether they can run crysis.
you can on like the lowest, upgrade to a 8600 gt xfx xxx edition. its only a 69$ card and it can play on all medium. medium is still better looking than any game ever though
Hm, medium I would say, I also have AMD Athlon X2, but Im going to get the VERY best! Just take a look; INTEL QUADCORE Q9300 (AND NOT FUCKING Q6600) 4x 2.5GHz, 1333 FSB - 512MB DDR3 GEFORCE 8800GTS (G92!!), NVIDIA - 250GB SATAII HARDDISC, 7200RPM - 4GB! DDR800! DDR2 RAM! ..
you should get something like that (only if your from denmark, sorry), but if you really like AMD (witch is a very good engine btw, tbh!) you should get their new "QUADCORE" called; AMD Phenom. but u go medium I think :-)
Yeah i'm currently on AMD and it's very good. My mate has the new Phenom and i dont think i can be assed to but it atm seeing as i have only just upgraded. But still ill go Phenom in a year or two;) But i dont mind medium settings for Crysis... the game play is still the same and i probably wont complete more than 3 times. I play on CSS and Teamfortress 2 the most so dual 8500's would do it for me.

Hmmm AMD is good but I do have to say Intel does have faster L2 cache Q6600 is really good price very very overclockable and its got a 8mb L2 cache. Seems like a really good processor to me. :P
Im not trying to brain wash people Im just saying what I think. Im on a really old AMD CPU right now and I need a upgrade badly. lol
no! it cant play it on Very High without dropping like below 18 fps all the TIME! i struggle to play High 1440x900 DX10 high settings! I only get around 13-35 fps!
LOL! u know the "Paradise Lost" level. Well i had EVERYTHING on Very High EXCEPT motion blur which was off, i NEVER EVER dropped into the single digits, i was averaging about 25 fps i think, my lowest fps was like 15 fps! AMAZING for a $640 pc excluding monitor etc.
What kind of video camera are you using? I have the Sanyo video camera. Also, dude you shouldn't be doing some of that stuff like that. Especially destroying trees etc. Respect nature!
uhh and we're not using a video camera, we're using an ingame recorder called Fraps, google search it to learn about it or get a demo to try it out. it end up being better quality and easier to manage, rather than using a video camera.
thats a joke only 30 fps on call of duty 4 with 2 gigs of ram and an 8800gt? i get atleast 45 fps with EVERYTHING MAXED at 1680x1050 with an 8600gt 1 gig of ram and a 5000amd athlon so um i dont know why you only get 30 fps -_-
wow thats quite alot - i thik all guys which wrote comments on this video should be happy and thank god that they actually have a pc and can watch this wonderful video u have made :-)

hey man, i wanted matt (its rick here) to reply to you, but im all we've got. the cpu he has is a core2duo E4500 @ 2.0GHz and i beleive the res is somewhere in the 1000's. also, im quite sure hes not using AA here. sorry i couldnt help out more, but im pretty sure what i said there is true.

I also have a really old AMD CPU, it sux xD. - but fuck Q6600, what rox now is Q9300! ;)
denORANGEdiller 3 years ago
There isn't really much of a difference from a Q6600 and a Q9300. The Q9300 is clocked faster and more expensive. They both have the same L2 cache.
And the Q6600 is way overclockable. 2mb/s L2 cache kicks the hell out of 512kb/s L2 catch (thats what I have now) Plus its cheaper. :)
SA8TER21 3 years ago
I mean 2mb/s L2 cache per core. and per core for mine too...which I have a dual core.
SA8TER21 3 years ago
