I'm currently doing Music at uni. the way i begin to compose is the same as you are doing. i just sit at the piano and start playing what i feel comes naturally. i then remember what sounds good and come back to that later and add onto it until eventually i have a song.

i loved the static quality of your piece, almost but not quite minimalistic. it was very relaxing.

could you upload more, i'd like to hear them.

Hey DB. Thanks for your comment. I think the "almost but not quite minimalistic" is probably a greater reflection of my playing abilities, than anything else. lol. I don't know if I have any immediate plans to upload any more. But you never know.

Well the audio is only what my Sony Handycam picked up. And it is a pretty basic consumer level keyboard.

I haven't played a real piano in a very long time. I worry I wouldn't have the strength to get a good dynamics out of it. But it would be fun to try.

It is funny because this is the one and only video I've made where I am playing keyboard, and curiously enough it is featured (and I've made over 120 videos in the past year! lol)... All these people are coming here with great expectations of musicianship. Its not really what I'm about. I did it because it felt good to do. Although some of the comments about "minor scales... stuff anyone can do" crack me up. lol
