  • loved this review!!! Thanks :)

  • when you're washing it, what do you use?

  • how about powder foundation?? does it work as well as with liquid or cream??

  • I ♥ this sponge so much/ It last forever

  • as always, great review! thank you for your work

  • Haha...: "Tanned - not so tanned" ;)

  • Hello there.. EnKore did a demo with mineral makeup. What's your take on using mineral with this sponge?

  • is the MAC 'all blending sponge' which is also latex free, a good alternative to this?

  • You are gorgeous!

  • It is so expensive is there any alternative product?

  • @MsPaulinaAurora there is a cheaper one at love-makeup.co.uk you can get it in black or pink, the only place they don't ship to is the US, but international everywhere else.

  • @leccah Thank you.

  • I've been watching some of your more recent videos and you don't mention the beauty blender anymore. Do you still like it or has it been replaced by something?

  • *wink* right back at ya!

  • Hi

I know that my English is not perfect but I would like to know: How long can I use my beauty blender??

  • @kropeczka33

    podobno około 6 miesięcy

  • If I have a questions I either ask you and you answer but more often than not you already have an upload about it. Just like this one.

  • have you used the sonia kashuk sponge? is it as good as the beauty blender? The beauty blender is kind of expensive.

  • "Tan, not-so-tan, tan, not-so-tan" lol best part of the video :D

Have you tried the Sonia kashuk blending sponge? I heard it's shaped better for the face.

  • I just bought this sponge. When I say I love this sponge... I love it. I used less make up and got a great flawless look plus i notice my make up last way longer through out the day . I dont know but i used this for my powder foundation and love it also. I didn't use it at wet with powder thou

  • I might just buy this sponge even if it's $25 for two..

  • @noshills At Sephora.com you can get two sponges and the cleanser for 39.95 thats a better deal

  • I have a few questions:

Have you ever tried to knock offs? Such as Ulta? (can you use the cleaner with it?)

Is there an alternative to the cleaner?

Is there a hygienic way to clean the beauty blender between clients or is this something I should just keep for myself?

  • I use this with my Mac mineral skinfinish natural. It makes my skin look like velvet. Only drawback is it is time-consuming. Gotta wet it then make it damp using a towel then bounce it on your face alot. Then I always wash it after I use it cuz I'm germaphobic like that. Oh and if you use dish soap it comes out stainfree clean. For a perfect look it can't be beat.

  • favorite make up person(:

  • you're the best

  • Would you recommend this over the 187 for liquid foundation application?

  • how would u store the beauty blender? especially after its all wet ?

  • heheheh the beautyblender is cute :) little pink squishy :D

  • Respect your reviews, thanks!

  • i love this sponge!! i buy so many products from your recommendations and i have yet to be disappointed in any of them. you are the best.

  • lmfaoooooo tan not so tanned

  • hi dearest beautyblender is for sheer coverage while stippling brush is for full coverage, you have to apply the foundation to your face not directly to the sponge and my sure the sponge is not so wet or soaked in water majorly coz that will washout the foundation, i also love this with mineral powder

  • Am I the only one who hates this product, or am I just the only one uncoordinated to use it? Naturally I used it damp, but it still seemed to do nothing more than soak up almost all of my liquid foundation. Is there anyway to prevent this?

  • i agree this is very expensive

  • Not usually a fan of sponges but just cause of your 'majical' colour changes gonna try it - thanks <3

  • evtm u wet ur sponge wut kind of liquid u spray it with...i`m interested to know..plz tell me plz tq.

  • @graciemelody water =.='

  • Tan.. no tan.. ALMOST as good as the " don't look like this " at the end of the " How to look old " video.. question if you have time to answer ( if not , still love you! ) Is this product better than a stippling brush? I use a moderate coverage liquid foundation because I have a uneven skin tone. Thanks. MUAH!

  • i have this sponge as well as the sonia Kashuk one, this one is way softer and i find work a lot better.

my question is, how does this compare to normal triangle sponges? obviously the shape, but will blending work just as well? i read that the alcone sponge is the same material as the beauty blender. is that true?

  • hi !

i did my own video in french for this amazing sponge !

i bought mine after saw your video, thanks again !

    i love your channel !

  • Everytime I watch your videos, I want to go shopping, :( lol It's kind of a love hate relationship :P Jk! U rock!

  • Great review. I may have to check the BB out.

  • sephora now has a knockoff for $18 (canadian) but it looks a bit smaller and it definately doesnt expand to twice its size so it makes me wonder if it lays the foundation on thicker because it's denser...? i'd love to try the original BB but for $25CDN - thats a bit crazy

  • thank you for this video. i don't have a beauty blender (but i will eventually!) so i tried doing this with the big side of the cheapo triangle sponges and THAT has done a big difference in my foundation. so with the beauty blender, i hope to see even better results

  • love love love my beauty blender. have tried imitations and they all are horrible. i have turned on several people in my family too them as well.

  • well i don't ike beauty blender because it eats my foundation it really does it it transefers very little amount to my face i don't know may be i do something wrong

  • What Chickalyn said. I agree completely. (Sugartits, you're an ass.)

  • u r amazingly charming!

  • Is mac full coverage discontinued all together?

  • no, it is a MAC pro product.

  • Comment removed

  • Love to see you actually use this with the full coverage...ppppplllllease;) Pretty Please? ;)

    Thanks for the review.

  • I may have to invest in this at some point.

  • grr wayne you're making me spend money. but I love you so it's okay :)

  • Hi! I have both the BB and the Sonia Kashuk one...both are pretty comparable and you get the same flawless finish with both. The only problem I had with the SK sponge was that it started shedding after a few weeks of use...little blue flakey sponge pieces. All around love these sponges...just concerned about cleanliness issues with the sponges and how long it takes to clean them.

  • my god i love his accent xxx

  • Would this work well with MAC Studio Tech? thanks!

  • Hi Goss, are you liking the Beauty Blender than the MAC 238 brush?

  • I gotz 2 get me 1 of Ds.

  • you. are. absolutely gorgeous.

  • haha tanned not so tanned haha!

  • great videoo!

  • wow... I used to use damp sponge for applying foundation and this one is what I need. Thanks! ^^

  • Thanks. and you look great in both colors!

  • Hey Wayne, I have had my beauty blender for about 3 months now. I agree with you it leaves a fantastic finish and uses a lot less product in the process.

I have to admit I thought it was expensive when I bought it but once it arrived I was converted.

    MWAH as always

    XXXX

  • Great review, makes me want to go out and get one! I might go for the Sonia one at Target first and try it out. And yes, Wayne is a doll. I try to get past that and listen to his makeup tips! lol

  • thanks so much for doing this review! Have you tried the Sonia Kashuk version? I wonder if it's even comparable.

  • I have this beauty blender too. And I shall try this with my Shu Uemura nobura cream foundation tomorrow!

  • "Tan, no tan. Tan, no tan". hahaha! Made my day! I am gonna try see if I can find that product here in NZ?! You look stylish today!

  • So what's the difference between this and a regular cosmetic sponge?

  • i second this question.

  • great video...!! i'll definitely try it...!!

  • 20 pounds!!!!!

    Wow!

  • great look in this video :)

  • I have that and love it. Will you be doing a tutorial on Mac's new line called Style Black? I want to purchase allot of the items in this line, which is the first for me. This line is more me. Thank you for all the tutorials. You are amazing!!!!!!

  • 1) you look beautiful in this video, who is Brad Pitt ?? ;-) you're really great

    2) beauty blender is a great product but I think it's too expensive, one of my preferite youtube channel is a girl form NY that talks in italian and she thinks that sephora red sponge is cheaper and comparable too..

    3) when you show to use the blender just tapping you seem to be a fish...love it

  • new hair color? =)

  • thanks wayne! and i agree with everyone else, you look really nice today :)

  • i have the generic beauty blender from Target, and once i used it, my foundation never looked the same. i just kind of wondered where it had been all my life! however, since i use revlon colorstay with it, it stains it like crazy no matter how many times i wash it. now instead of dipping it directly into my foundation i apply it with a foundation brush and then just use the blender to blend it out. it absorbs less product that way i think

  • you look great today !

  • How do you think the blender would do with bare minerals foundation? thanks!

  • Beauty Blender also works amazing with MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation. It's the only way I use it. Not even a foundation brush work as good. Excellent review!!!

  • i love my beauty blender!

  • You look great in this video.

I use mine with mineral makeup too. Love it.

  • wow you look great in this vid!!

  • Do you think someone should get the cleanser to go with it or is it fine to use any brush cleaner?

  • hi wayne where can i purchase this in the UK?

  • Lol Tanned, not so tanned. You should just walk around with your hands up in the air! Also that is a fabulous sweater vest/jumper thing!

  • I adore this little sponge! You're right about the flawless finish. The pointed tip is great for getting into corners hard to reach areas.

  • You talked about ebony skin and I learned so much. I learn a lot from all your videos and you are easy on the eyes. Thank you.

  • Thanks Wayne! Love my beautyblender!

  • you look great in this!

  • what's wrong with using it with powder?

  • Hmm.. I may have to give mine another go. I tried it a few times and didnt get into the whole bouncing thing.. seems like it took forever and then I ended up swiping it anyhow.. then went over with a brush. I was using a liquid foundation at the time. I have the cream one (studio tech) maybe I will like it better with that. I will try again! thanks...

  • You're so hot in this video. lol. Sorry, back to my question--what is that 'full coverage' makeup compact that you pulled out?

  • tanned...not quite so tanned... lol :)

  • Thanks!!

  • Another lovely review - thanks Wayne, you always know the best products to recommend ;))!

  • thanks... do they have this in asia ?

    I wonder..

  • If anyone in the states is interested Sonia Kashuk makes

this sponge and it's sold at Target for 10 bucks! It's the same

exact thing, just shaped slightly different. It's just as brilliant as the Beauty Blender but at a much more reasonable price.

  • haha! your still fabulous even with the color change. Video rocks as always. ^_^

  • But do you think its better than the MAC 187 brush? I cant live without mine!

  • I love my beauty blender!!! The cleanser for it is amazing too

  • I currently use the non-latex wedge sponges, damp of course!

Wayne my question is, is this sponge so much better because of the shape or is it the material it is made up of?

  • You're similar to one actor

  • After you just bounce it on, do you blend it like normal? I'm just so scared of using new products wrong. It looks so cute. XP

  • beautyblender is one of my favorite mu tools, along with eyelash curler

  • thanks for the tip! i'll definitely try my sponge with cream products next. i have, unfortunately been noticing my studio fix fluid going by a lot faster than usual. that's sort of something i expect with a sponge though and i feel like it's a trade off im ok with considering the great results i get with the sponge. btw i use the sonia kashuk version and love it :) im sure i'd love the original even more but im a bargain gal

  • I use it every day. Best tool ever!

  • I like to use the tip of it to blend my concealer under my eyes and the corner of my nose where it gets red...makes it so easy to get to! but yeah having nails I do get annoyed when washing it because you have to take a lot longer to do it I think...

  • Wayne, what a gentleman you are to look out for us girls and warn us about our nails. I appreciate that as I do have long nails and can't afford to replace this sponge immediately just because I've gouged it with my nails. This sponge is definitely an investment but a worthy one as there is nothing that looks worse than unblended makeup. I am going to try it because of you. Of course, I will wait until Sephora has their sale right before Christmas(hopefully). Great review. Thanks.

  • oh dear you are to cute!

"tan.. not so tan... tan..not so tan" lol

  • Got it! LOVE it! :o)

  • I have one and I am not so happy because the cleansing is soooo difficult. Some textures don't want to come off and I prefer my huge brush over this. The result ist OK but I prefer a higher coverage. But I will try it with the MAC FC - sounds very interesting. I used it with usual coverage foundations only.

What else I don't like is that it fades and the pink color always comes off. It makes me think that a tiny bit of the colorant stays on my skin and I don't like the idea

  • Excellent video, as usual :)

  • You're just so handsome. I don't even care about that sponge, lmao. I said it! Who's with me?!

  • You're definitely on to something!

  • I am definitely with you. He's just gorgeous. Those beautiful eyes. And most importantly, his true kindness and beautiful, gentle soul shines through in his vids.

  • I'm with ya!

  • £20 quid????? bloody hell.

  • thing is, I know I will buy one. :)

  • I use the Sonia Kashuk one from Target (very similar to the Beauty Blender but a lot cheaper) and it works beautifully with my Eve Pearl HD Foundation. :)

  • I just love the beauty blender. I pretty much just use it all the time for foundation.

  • I've been skeptical of this but may try it now. I'm hopeful that the smaller end does an effective job of blending into problem areas- sides of nose, close to eyes etc. Thanks for the (motivating!) review ...

  • hello wayne

long time i dont write to you

where in london can i get the beauty blender?

    misha from london

    (the spanish guy lol)

    x

  • Wayne, have you tried the blender sponge with the Illamasqua rich? i'd love to know how it performs, thanks.

  • Thanks for the review. I have heard much about this sponge. How exactly does it differ from your ordinary makeup sponge? Is the material different? It seems like it they can be used interchangeably. Thanks again.

  • It's not as dense and the pores are not as fine as those of this "cake pieces", but it has no edges so there are no strokes. You can roll it over the skin

  • wayne can you please show us the application of that foundation with the beauty blender

  • I adore the beauty blender too :) I use it myself! For hd/cream foundations it's really amazing. There's a less expensive version in the US by Sonia Kashuk, it is more dense and doesn't "bounce" as well, but still quite similar.

  • I throw mine in my washing machine with my towels to wash it.. then just air dry

  • I do not own the Beauty Blender but I will say that I've heard some great reviews on it. xoxo~Babs~

  • I absolutely love the Beauty Blender! I use it everyday! Way better than a brush.

  • I counted three winks, Wayne. You are particularly flirty today. I'm blushing! LOL

Thanks for the review. I have often thought to buy a sponge like this, but doubted how well it would work. However, I think I will try the less expensive version first (Sonia Kashuk). Have a lovely day!

  • you dont think that it is wasting the product by absorbing it inside the sponge? i have the target brand one that was $10 and i have used it, i like the way it makes an airbrushed look but i think it is using more foundation than i would with a foundation brush. let me know what you think. thanks!

  • Great review. I bought this about 4 months ago, and have yet to use it. I am going to use it tomorrow.

  • your hair looks great. new highlights? love it! :D

  • thanks for sharing

  • i like to try that

  • I may need to invest in one..I take your opinion seriously..<3

  • I think you are awesome!

Everyone can learn so much from you :)

    Thank you for the review!

  • You're looking mighty spiffy tonight.

  • how long will a sponge probably last???

    1 month??

  • Lolz, you got a point there... :)

  • LOVING the new goatee!! :D

  • Enkore has a review on this, he used it with mineral makeup. What happened to your picture quality???

  • he says its the lighting in the background..

  • If you look at his other videos, they are not this blur. Probably reduced fps or condensed quality.

  • What do you wet it with? That spray thing?

  • water :) im guessing

  • second?! LOL

  • I tried this, but I guess I'll stick to brushes.

  • I really want to try it but its kind of expensive for me +P

  • LIEHIEZE, I am not sure where you are located, but Sonia Kashuk makes a similar product that sales for $8.99 at Target stores. I can not recommend it as I have never used it, but the price is much more affordable and it looks very similar to this product.

  • Well, I live in the Netherlands so I cannot get my hands on the Sonia Kashuk one either :(

  • Oh that's so cute!!! :)

  • YES! I'm a fan of his! Do YOU care?

  • Well you cared enough to reply twice. Thank you so much! But I don't care what you think anyway. Have a nice day! (you can stop replying now)

  • hahahahhahaha

  • wtf sugartits12 leave her fucking alone!! no one cares that you don't care. she can say whatever she fucking wants. stop bein a little baby and get a life!!
