  • I wonder how much Jay contributes to the Police charities.

  • yea that's funny Jay about the 6 cyl stang in thunderball that fiona volpe was drivng to that hotel in and picked bond up on the side of the road after he was taking pic's of the undewrneath of the Disco Valante,

the one in goldfinger was Bond chasing trudy some's up that road in switzerland and getting next to her and shredding her tire's with the spinning knockoff's on the DB-5 Aston.

  • pretty cool a guy living his dream.

  • that 208 GTB in the pic's sometime's is his mechanic friend bernard Juchli

    master machanic and good friend.

the two Miur'a's the countach and the Espada are driver's car's.

  • this is why leno is better than conan

  • jay is cool, he will drive every car he owns, thats cool.

  • where jay live??

  • @TheMaurob1979 california i think . . .his garage is in burbank

  • i cant find that part of goldfinger on here anyone seen it?

  • FORD POWER!

  • sounds sad but i would so love to detail that car and make it shine and the sound is amazing, like music to my ears. makes me glad i love cars and got the passion

  • 0:34 A 65 Mustang is my dream car too.

  • Actually, it was Octopussy that featured the Mustang with James Bond(played by Sean Connery at the time).

Goldfinger just show the Mustang being chased by the 64' Aston Martin DB5.

  • @blackandgold51

    wake up,

there was no stang on octopusy,

the car in there was a alfa GTV-6 that bond stole from the lady in the phone booth to hurry and telll the base commander there was a Bomb on the base, and he had to ge there to defuse it.

  • @kirkconway

Uh', actually there was a Mustang in Octopussy, it was blue and Bond was in the passenger seat while there was a lady driving and the scene was a nightime scene. Their were going to a hotel or some club.

  • Jay drives a different car from his collection every day to work. They are surely being used (maybe a little abused at times).

  • I would trade in my mother to get my hands on that beauty...DAMN!!!!

  • No seat belt???? Click it or Ticket LENO!!!!

  • @clarkcircus5 They only came with a lap belt

  • I would sell my soul to the devil to get that car.....

  • damn i love that engine rumble

  • Thank you Jay..We love you!

  • Leno got his Bond films confused. Bond was never picked up hot chick in a '65 conv. 'Stang in Goldfinger. Tilly Masterson (the chick) was chased by bond in his Aston Martin DB5 and he ran her off the road by tearing up her tire with one of Q Branch's cool gadgets. The film where Bond is taken for a ride by a babe and he sweats as the speedometer gets pinned is Thunderball. ...the very next film after Goldfinger. Come on Jay, get it right.

  • love the festiva in the back

  • i bet he can talk his way out of tickets.. no problem

  • your car is stolen its mine the sin. numbers are 5R 09r 250242 driven in Canada from Dryden Ontario car show 1976 2# place

  • i drove this car i know this car 306 hp and i know .

  • Great to see a rare car such as this, DRIVEN! Wow!

  • It's got this & it's got that & youre stuck in LA traffic MR. RICHASS!

  • @MontrealMan1970 Actually, Canadian traffic is worse -- Toronto is the worst in all of North America.

  • whats the gray car @ 0:28???

mustangs rule....not the best, the fastest, the most powerfull.....but its a mustang, an icon

    mopar.hater! lol

  • @fvboss429 That's a Ford Shogun from 1989. It's a Ford Festiva with a 3.0 liter V6 and nitrous.

  • @fvboss429 Jay has the 1st Taurus SHO powered Festiva built.

  • @MontrealMan1970 DID YOU SAY FESTIVA????

  • @brucekirk89 yes he did. some dude took 9 festivas and threw the v6 sho in the back. it went 0-60 in about 4.6 and leno's has a nitrous tank.

  • i don't like the 64-66.67 upwards are the best in my opinion.especially the 69 looks pretty cool.

  • Jay Leno is Kick Ass....and love the man for Supporting the Cause!! Quoted: Robert Pitard

    Are you a Mustang Freak!?!?!?

    Join.....SmokinStangs dotcom

  • Another reason why people don't drive the original Shelbys much is because they're worth soo much. People think they have a gold bar on wheels. They're also expensive to insure. They look like fun cars though and have a great engine sound.

  • I don't think I would feel as comfortable driving this car on the street as Jay is!

  • When you have as much money as Jay does you can afford to enjoy it. Besides why own a badass car if you can't drive it!

  • @jammer96 I couldn't agree more. I saw an ad in the DuPont Registry for car bubbles. You could park your car inside and it would circulate filtered air and keep dust and moisture away from your collectible. Whats the point of owning it???? DRIVE IT!

  • If I build a personal fortune in this life similar to Jay's, and have the means and ability to experience the level of car delight that he can, I will leave this world a happy man.

  • I wouldn't say they are less reliable, sure not "safe" by today's standards but if you want safe stay at home.

  • the best looking mustang of them all..........

  • i have a question, so someone answer me.

Why dont a lot of people drive these cars? cuz im going to get one and i have feeling its cuz of gas?

  • To find one in decent condition will run you about 25k, and one in this condition would be around 100k+ Plus they were made in limited numbers.

  • not as safe, not as fuel efficient, less reliable... cars today are... well.. better. but i still think nothing today comes close to the detroit stuff from the 60s.

  • You obviously haven't driven many 40 year old cars.

  • a lot of people dont drive these cars because a lot of people can't afford a $200,000 american classic muscle car..if you can afford the car you can afford the gas

  • @saadat1ariel I can assure you it's not because of "gas". You purchase these cars because you love cars, you love the engine, shifting, you enjoy washing her and taking pictures of her. BUT, you don't drive them in rain or snow if you want them to last for a while.. Insurance is high though... SO, 3 months later, do you have one yet or too young?

  • to young and want one really badly

  • @saadat1ariel Indeed, my first car was a chevy cavalier, then when i got my provisionals i bought a 92' mustang 5.0 foxbody hatchback, that was 5 weeks ago, now it's in the body/paint shop supposed to be out today or tommorow. Best $9000 i ever spent...

  • @saadat1ariel For one thing, they are really hard to find now... and many people just have them sitting in their garage. I have a 67 and I drive it all the time... althought I do get scared that someone is going to steal it... which is why I installed a low jack, and kill switch in my baby.

  • There certinaly was a girl and a Mustang in Goldfinger ...

Beautiful car - and he uses it. Good on him.

  • i LOVE how he had the balls to floor it most ppl with a classic like that og sssoooo eeassy on the engine

  • i love how he actually drives his cars instead of letting them sit all the time

  • That engine makes the hair stand up on my neck. I don't know why. In my opinion, it's one of the best sounding engines ever.

  • I'd be way to nervous to be driving in all that traffic with this car....yikes

  • Hi wideopen,

It wasnt Goldfinger that that happened in, it was Thunderballl,

& Sean was was coming up to the road from the water where he was shooting the undersides of the Disco Valante with a special camera to see if there was a way that the bad guy's were getting in from underneath,

he came to the beach shed his wet suit and then saw the mustang of fionna volpe, and he got in and she was going to the hotel and picking up speed like she didnt even care,

Thats what Jay was talking about!

  • is Jay high? That never happened in Goldfinger, he picked up the girl after they were racing and he popped her tire.

  • thats what i was thinking

  • I've always liked Leno's enthusiasm for cars.

He knows and enjoys them like most enthusiasts would- ndriving them and having fun.

  • 100% Agreed my friend!! There seems to be no one on the tube that knows there cars like him!! ;)

  • great sounding car

  • I honestly don't think there's a car fan, especially a muscle car fan out there that doesn't like Mustangs.. I'm more of a Mopar fan but there really is something special about them..

  • yea jay is a total realist and his driving alll his cars shows it,

He dosnt let threm sit and collect dust ,

he takes all of them out at different times and drives them,

    sometimes really good too,

all his older brass cars and the classics he has , they go out too and are run in the mts,and the burbank freeway,

No stuffy ferraris or lambos just raw american muscle sound, shifting, nothing power,

    just ster it and drive,

    Un muffled 289 staccato,

  • exactly, many people call him a collector but hes more of an enthusiast. great guy

  • @kirkconway actually he does have some ferarris and lambos, abeit older ones.

  • good oh ya leno, good to see a celebrity talkin like an average guy, you are still in touch with reality!!!! top stuff

  • how many cars does this guy have?

  • Around 40 cars plus 30 motorcycles. He has them all in 3 large airport hangers.

  • Great video, delivered as only Jay can! :) Jack

  • One of the best Stangs ever built!

  • COOL

  • Man, I love mustangs.... Sheez, awesome Muscle car that ever existed...

BUILT FORD RACING FORD US FORD LIFE

  • Fantastic!

  • i saw him at a hot rod show!!!!

  • Jay has some great cars! Great Mustang!

  • all mustangs built in 64 were titled as 65s.

  • Not so..I bought my first car when I was a senior in high school,1979,and it was titled 64 Ford Must 2D.I seem to remember an old timer telling me back that in the old days, cars were titled according to the year they were sold. Thats why I saw '54 Chevy trucks called '55's even with the old body style.I had an early car, produced mid '64 and titled as such.Maybe the rules changed to title as the year it was produced.

  • hey i had a '54 Chevy Panel, i learned years ago, there were 1955 1st series and 1955 2nd series, the early ones looked like the '54's, same grill and all. i owned a '55 1st series pickup back in 1980 (it was mainly used for parts for my '54 Panel. Just sold it in 2006, bought it in 1976. hated sellin it but it was in bad shape, plus i gots me a '66 Mustang to work on anyways, so it didnt hurt as much, lol

  • @shelbykenny the rarest vehicle i've v\ever owned was an silver manuel trans 89 Shelby Daytona. that year they made around 2,000. if you break it down by color, silver was the rarest. the one i had was silver. they only made 126 silver manuel trans Shelby Daytonas in 89, making it one of if the rarest Shelby Daytonas. sadly mine was stripped and scrapped. its parts went on to rebuild a maroon 89 regular daytona turbo w/ an auto (not mine). that car has now been crushed due to a bent frame.

  • @CamaroAmx my daytona was sold out from underneath me by my dad, cause he never thought it would ever been street legal again. Oddly enough my grandfather did that to my uncle, when sent his "parts" 70 351 Mustang to the crusher after it sat at the house for a week.

Its actually a very common story, which why musclecars are rare.

BTW: my father now knows better then to even breathe on my 73 AMX (its there due to restoration and lack of parking at my house).
