specialized p1 should be JUST fine. You don't need a top of the line bike for every single specific type of riding in order to succeed- it's a LOT more about skill than the bike- you can honestly do most things with just a Norco Sasquatch. (hardtail freeride bike)It won't work quite as good as an STP,chase,or 250 for dirtjumping, but it will be decent. It would also do downhill and trials decently- just nothing perfectly.
@biketrial1000 ok i see. Also how much is it for a trials bike? Maybe $800? (I'm Canadian) because I want to get one

I don't have one of these bikes (if you are using a trials bike) can I just take the seat off of me MB? Also is it ok if I have 26in. rims?

@blackopspro283 for the beginnig it should work;) but if you want to reach higher levels there is no way around a trialbike!

any bike is suitable for trials but it will be harder to learn on if you don't have a trials specific bike:
i have a ZOO! Pitbull, one of the best make of trials bikes and it is lovely, but unfortunately i am not very good at trials yet :)
