Saw Journey last month. Missed Steve alot but have to say, that Arnel rocks. An amazing guy who has had it tough and is so appreciative to be with these guys. Know if Steve wanted to be singing, he would be coz we would all listen. Since he doesn't, Arnel is awesome and is a great human being. Wished they had done songs from Revelation --entire album filled with amazing songs. Jonathan and Neil as talented as ever!! City of Hope good stuff too, though different.
I was born in the 90s but I dare say I've listened to more 80's songs than most people who lived in that era. This is a true masterpiece... the one song I've heard that was released in the 21st century but still sounds like the fucking 80s... thank you Journey for Arnel...

Well, if you tend to notice, they found a guy that has a "similar" voice to Steve Perry (though no one compares to Perry..he has the best voice for Journey and took them to their success) in order to "gain" new fans...but they couldn't do it. This album went no where. I do like the song though. But I will always be a Journey with Steve Perry loyal fan
Arnel ain't Steve, but at the same time, Steve isn't Arnel either. They are both outstanding singers, and I don't see the need to choose one or the other, as I like them both. Journey is still Journey, and they are still at the top of their game. Sit back, and enjoy the music.
No rip offs here... just good music. As far as Josh Gorbin goes, he can't even sing his own songs right. Selah sounds better at singing, you raise me up! ha!

So much fighting Ok listen im a Steve Perry fanatic and wish he would still be with journey but Arnel is not a terrible singer i believe Steve Perry is better but every1 has there own opinon but Arnel is not a bad singer just always remember Journey is a great band i wish they still had Perry as lead singer but he's not but there a great band either way

Journey got off the ground with Rolie, went mega-huge with Perry, and is continuing their greatness with Pineda. All of them (as well as Augeri and Soto) added something to the legend that is Journey, and all of them should be commended for their great work, not blasted because one is purportedly "better" than another.
