I use a Mac book pro myself and I love it. I have never tried to connect a braille note but I know you can connect just about any braille display you want.
@tabbycat41187 Yes, but only for braille display functions as far as I know, I don't think you can directly transfer data between the devices without use of an SD card or USB thumb drive, I don't know if the Microsoft Handheld device sync utility works with the BrailleNote.
I want either that or the braille display for my macbook pro. Which braille note apex model is better, the qwerty keyboard or the braille keyboard? I find it so weird typing with a braille keyboard now that i'm so used to typing with the standard qwerty keyboard on my macbook pro. I'm planning to go to grad school and sometimes have the need to take notes during job interviews and can't always bring my laptop with me.
@tabbycat41187 Then perhaps you would be better of with the BrailleNote QT if you're so used to using a QWERTY keyboard. Please be aware that in order to transfer documents between your BrailleNote and your computer one of the options you have is Microsoft ActiveSync, I don't know if the Microsoft Handheld device sync utility is still available for the Mac, I don't know if it works with the BrailleNote, nor do I know if it's accessible with VoiceOver, but you can still use a card or USB disk
I'm going to get an Apex this school year. I love this thing.
