i agree with this review but they need to say that this game was REALLY REALLY good. you cant "run and gun" its way easier then old splinter cell games but this one was easily one of the best.

@AyCeeAreyy My favorite by far, although you could "run and gun" even on realistic mode as long as you are not worried about getting every enemy. It's even crazier since it feels so fast, just go through blasting and throwing EMP or flash grenades and the enemies are either dead or so confused they take a few minutes to follow you. Keep moving forward (assuming you played it before and know where to go) and you're unstoppable.

they made it less stealthy for a reason.. look at the story, its much more personal, it fits alot better. you would be angry and willing to shoot enemies on sight if it involved a family member.. being stealthy wouldnt seem like you were affected and would make the story bleak. it fits! :D

Online isn't THAT great either. People say you'll have late nights but honestly it's only great with a mate or solo. I'm gonna get double agent instead that looks awesome. I would recommend you get the demo first or rent it but seriously don't buy it You either hate it or love it. Try it first then decide. I really do recommend you do that

These guys are good at reviewing but when it comes down to marks they are quite harsh... 8/10 doesn't really say great to me, it just says fun... A game as awesome as this should be a 9 or 9.5. I've had the game since the day before release and STILL play single player all the time, co-op is fun but, the solo campaign is just pure awesome...

Great review. I couldn't agree with you more on some of the game mechanics. I don't care for the game making a chump of Sam Fisher by posting Zune-ish billboards of hide here, squat there. And the fade the B&W for stealth and the "ghost" image of your last known position is distracting. I'd say, try again. Bring Sam back. Reboot and keep in the agency. This storyline kills the elements we had liked about the first two Spinter Cell games. Cheers.

Anyhow, trust me, those were so much better, the stories, lambert whos always talking to fisher via an earpiece and the stealth and his acrobatic moves, breakin necks from a pipe and usinga knife etc

Like the guy said, brute force instead of stealth, and to me SC was all about stealth, and its way way too short, considering the amount of time ubi had with this, and how much money they earn i expected a lot more. Thats the way companies ruins their more important franchises. I loved the ps2 games, but even watching SC:C from any other point its just an average game. Its not bad, but being so ridiculously short and a third person shooter makes it just a rental.
