I have read the chapter in Pliny's Natural History "Of Comets and other prodigious Appearances in the Sky : their Nature, Situation, and Kinds." He speaks of such comets, but it does not say that they struck the ground, only that the Ethiopians, under the rule of Typhon, "saw" them, and that they appear in the "West part of Heaven". @ryndercella the rapture will not come until after the 7 years of tribulation: Jesus as were the "days of noah", so will his comeing be...there were "7 days"(years) before noah entered the ark on the 8th day. on september 26th this Elenin(which most don't believe is a comet but a dark star maybe 4 times the size of jupiter) it will between the sun and earth and could cause the poles on the earth to shift....we will see if it's all true soon.

But it turns out that the gravitational pull of the giant planets creates variations in that period of up to a few years (so the time between successive appearances isn't always exactly 76 years). Its next appearance should be in 2061.

I have been listening to Brother Perry for many, many years and have NEVER heard him say ANYTHING that compromises the true and only way to salvation through Jesus Christ. Admittedly, he does teach on many controversial subjects, but I have often heard him say that his ideas are just that - his ideas, and not necessarily the the only ones. BUT, with over 40 THOUSAND hours of bible study, jewish teachers, and gov. contacts all over the world, I am inclined to believe most of what he has to say.

Perry Stone is a liar. Jeremiah 23:15 mentions "wormwood" and therefore its usage by John was to show the eventual destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 A.D. At Pentecost, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to indwell those who believed in Him. This indwelling was His Gift to us. The communion is a shadow of the sacrifice and indwelling of this. It is the willing "taking in" of Christ into our temples (bodies). It is symbolic of our faith in Him (That His sacrifice was sufficient and we cannot come to him through any of our own works). Jesus was no hybrid or mix. Read 1 John 5:7.

What a GOD we have that would wrap himself in human flesh. Suffer insult and violence at the hands of his creation then offer himself as the ultimate sacrifice for them and others to come. Destroying in himself the wall of petition deviding Jews and Gentiles. Becoming the greatest sacrifice and redemption of sin. For this becoming the path to GOD and judge of man justly. religion divides the jews and satan divides to conquer. Christ's sacrifice made grace available to all, so that all might find life. It's actually not too hard to understand. Christ did not kill himself, he gave himself for us, he became the sin of all SINS, in symbolism, and so his death AND resurrection meant a new beginning for humanity. Your knowledge of the scripture seems somewhat flawed. Jesus was the Son of God AND God. He was BOTH. He willing paid the price to lay down His life for every member of the human race. As a perfect human, He was the ONLY ONE who could do this and bear the sins of the entire world. AS GOD, He knew the end from the beginning and "raised His temple 3 days later". God would not allow Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. He foreshadowed HIS OWN replacement sacrifice to underscore His Love FOR US.

not really. communion is a memorial. it is not the literal body and blood of Jesus. however we must partake of the body and the blood of Jesus by believing. he's not preaching to appease the heathen and what their itching ears want to hear, but the truth that's in the bible AS WELL AS historical evidence to back up what the bible predicted. This mans ministry is that of prophecy and teaching the word, he uses the interesting and terrifying aspects of bible prophecy to draw and bring forth people to the gospel. If you see him in the churches and conferences not just on the show at the end of his sermons and meetings he takes the opportunity to lead others to Christ. Just be careful that you don't label this man as a false prophet, do we really know his heart?

The concensus of a few scientist today are that there is coming a polar shift. The effects of it are the same as what the bible discribs as the shaking of the earth.The stars will appear to fall from heaven because this event is a sudden event. Earthquakes and tsunamies unpresidented in world history will happen.The planet will stop spinning for 3 1/2 days then spin the other way. This would mean that the sun on one side of the planet will be totally dark for 3 1/2 days. That is what they say.
