A mate gave me a home tape when I went to live overseas in the 80s. Had devils gate on it which I played to death to remind me of home. Problem was it cut off at the harmonica so I never figured the end of the song until the early nineties. Ha ha most frustrating 5 years ever. Brilliant song, legend band!
I remember in the 80s I went to a party got drunk n stoned and this was playing while I started feeling sick so it pushed me over the edge & I puked lol
last time i heard this { had it on the old 33 vynil } we had it crankin' from the back veranda one night after a barby pissup.. two of us got carted off to hospital an me other mate got put in the clink for bluin' with the neighbour about the noise.. ahhh the memories of the early eighties..
MASSIVE thanks for this one! Living in Japan so the record shops don`t really about Doc and the fellas. Always thought this was their most underated song, it absolutely explodes near the end, and have been checking the Tube weekly. Bless your heart. Cracking the Japanese beers and dancing.
