  • thats a true yankee for u right there

  • His words are so touching and encouraging! If Lou Gehrig could refer to himself as the luckiest man in the world, then we should all be resilient in the face of any adversity. This is a man who has come, has seen, and has conquered. He will be missed forever!

  • Lou Gehrig Will Be Missed Forever.

  • selling lou gehrig baseball! go to link to buy cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270784748373&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

  • Gehrig stood with his hands on his buttocks to keep the spasms to a minimum. His disease had progressed to the point of his muscles weakening, twitching involuntarily. I see the same pride when I see Michael J. Fox in interviews. Fighting their disease all the way. It's inspirational to watch this.

  • I get chills watching this

  • I have this pose as an action figure... I cannot stand the yankees, but I had to get it.... I love the pre-steinbrunner yankees

  • Always the Yankee Captain.

  • I don't know if there is more of an Optimist then Lou Gehrig. Most people I don't think would be able to put his Condition in the Perspective that he was able to.

  • I've seen this speech about 500 times........and I STILL choke back tears when I hear it........such grace & eloquence in the face of adversity and despair.........Lou Gehrig was one of the greatest humans in all of history !!!
